There are two ways of obtaining membership here, and more are not likely to be introduced.
First, you have the "fast" way. Write a script that gets you into members.
Second, you have the "really, really, really slow and rare" way. If you stick around long enough, and prove to be a big enough asset to the community (being generally helpful and a nice guy, aiding newbs, etc.) then there's a chance that the higher ups will decide that you deserve membership even if you couldn't code so much as a "Hello World" script, and give it to you.

TBH, I think most members quits rs (me for example), because we then realize rs is pointless because we can bot any thing we want.
