Hey everyone!
This is my first script.
The main purpose of making this script was to learn the basics of scripting. I'll be continuing my progress from here! :) This is just the first of many steps…

Anyway, the script…
It crushes chocolate! :spot:


Features:
-Soul Wars banking.
-Most other banks in RS are also supported.
-Choice of using a Pestle and Mortar (members) or a Knife (non-members).
-Laggy/slow computer option! (I recommend EVERYONE to try the fast computer option first. If the fast computer option makes the bot bug up, switch to the laggy computer option.)
-Break Handling
-World Switching
-Multi-player support.
-Progress Report.

Instructions:
- Firstly, you must have a Knife (non-members) or a Pestle and Mortar (members) in your Toolbelt.
-If you are a member, make sure you use the Pestle and Mortar!
It crushes chocolate TWICE as fast as a knife. (double the profit! ;D)
- Secondly, you must have your chocolate bars in the FIRST bank slot.
- Thirdly, fill out ALL of the information until you get to a warning that says: "No Editing is required below this point!"

-If you have a very laggy computer, try setting the "LaggyComputer" option to true! (ALWAYS try to use the fast computer option first!)
-Unfortunately, if you use the laggy option, your profit/hour will be lower.

Things to add:
- Improved anti-ban. (continuous?)
- More Fail-safes (continuous)
- Support for Culinaromancer's Chest?

Regarding anti-ban, does anyone know how I could make it so that the bot randomly does anti-ban while it is waiting for the chocolate to be crushed?

The newest version is always at the bottom of the list.

It seems when I minimize SMART it says could not find chocolate bar is it because of the minimization?

What do you mean by "minimizing SMART"?
If you mean "Disable SMART", then yes, of course the script is going to stop. You need SMART enabled in order for the script to work.

You shouldn't have any problems minimizing the client though. I've tested it for several hours with the client minimized.

I may have ran into a banking error. I'll have to do more testing on it to confirm it. (I'm currently at Edgeville when I'm supposed to be a Varrock East, so that may be the issue. :p)
I'll continue to add more fail-safes later down the road, just in case.

I would love to see this buy chocolate bars from the Culinaromancer's Chest for an infinite supply. :D

Nice first script =), does this have support for Daemonheim bank yet?

Bug: It freezes when it does right click chocolate bar, after 1 minute it banks and get stuff and it freezes at right click again.

No I didn't mean disable i meant i pressed the minimize button had some pages covering it.
Edit: t seems to have given me the same error while botting last night, it says could not find chocolate whe nI had about 23k left in teh bank.

I will update the script on the 26th, and I should be able to fix all of the bugs.
I /may/ get it done tomorrow … we'll see.

List of things to do:
1. Make the banking based on finding the location of the item in the bank, then it will check for the correct uptext. This should stop the bot from withdrawing the wrong item, which is making the bot log out thinking that the job is done. (I believe this is the problem you are seeing, marsera.)

2. "And another one where the bot just hovers the mouse (or appears to) just over the Chocolate Dust button after selecting powder from the bars."
- That is a bug, and I'm going to be adding a failsafe that will fix it. (well, hopefully fix it)

You must be on a laggy computer. I know what is causing this, and I do have a fix.
The wait times are not long enough. The bot is trying to look for "Powder" before the option appears on the screen.
I will be adding an option to select whether you are running a laggy computer or a fast computer. Unfortunately, your gp/hour rates /will/ be lower if you select laggy computer.
This may come in 1.2, but I'll attempt to get it working for 1.1.

Because using a pestle and mortar is twice as fast due to it being automated.

That's an SRL issue. Just don't use the Fally West Bank.
I haven't tested each bank to see if it works at that bank. I'll remove FWB from the list whenever I update the script again.

Also, I have done zero gp/hour testing on free to play, so I'm happy to see that ftp gp/hour is higher than I expected! :)

Basic's are there, if you try applying for SRL Member's its a yes from me, just fix that little infinity loop at the end.

Script works well and this method is an easy way to make some rsgp. But have you thought about maybe adding more antiban to make it more human like? Also, it would not be hard to add in multiple account settings and to add a breaking procedure. Other then my two opinions, the script is really a nice simple script.

Yeah, it banks when I still have 3 bars to do. And I don't have any performance issues with my PC. Seems like the timer needs a tweak but I guess it's better than having it sit after completing a load.

How many accts at once can this handle?

The first thing I did was add a couple seconds on to the wait time. It's really easy to find in the script to change.. line 273 for f2p and 269 p2p.

If I have one suggestion I guess it would be changing the wait to 26000 for f2p for the users that aren't able to do this themselves. This way most the time it will only have 1 chocolate bar that wasn't dusted when banking.

I have a new problem. When I use an email address for a username, the @ is when the bot types it in is a ~.

I haven't really done much testing on ftp. I don't really have a ftp account to test it on … I only have one ftp gold slave, and he's using other methods to make cash. (It's such a nuisance to walk all of the way to the GE! :p)

(1.2 and 1.1.1 may get merged into one update. It all depends on how much time I have.)

Yeah, I think it is a Simba issue.

Also I just got what HHHHHHHH got. It's the 3rd time it's done it, start the script up again and it continues. I've also found if you stand on the outer people in the default bank, some times it throws errors.

I have a stable connection that hasn't been down once yet in the 2 month I've had the connection. I have a pinging tool that pings Google that I wrote. 0% Down time so far.

Overall though Paula, the Script works very well, it was working for about 6 hours solid earlier. Thanks!

A simple 'if…then statement' should be able to fix that issue.

And yes, I'll be making other scripts as soon as I get this script 100% stable! :)

Wait, did the script log you out then not log you back in?
I thought SRL had it set so you log out for a minute, switch worlds, then log back in.
I could be wrong though.

If you're only wondering why Simba took a screen shot when it found a mod, that's just a common procedure. It's simply an anti-ban precaution.

As for my next script, I might make a Make Leather (spell) bot. It has decent magic xp/hour, and 1.4m profit/hour, which is pretty amazing.
It does have high requirements, though. :/

I'm open to other suggestions. :)

So I haven't played Runescape in the last year or two. How does one go about making leather with magic? I'd be very interested to know. If you don't want to release details, I'd be interested to talk via PM.

You probably have the script set up wrong.
Make sure you set "UsingPestle" properly. It sounds like you have it set to true when it should be set to false.

Making leather (Blue dragonhide is the most profitable … 1.2m/hr) via magic requires that you have the spell "Make Leather" which is on the Lunar Spell book. You also have to have it unlocked from Livid Farm. (490k total livid farm points) The livid farm also has some pretty high requirements.

The requirements are high, but it's almost a good thing, to a certain degree.
It means that the script won't be leached, and it certainly won't be used for gold-farming. (both of which could be done via my chocolate crushing script, unfortunately)

Yeah my bot usually banks at about 25 chocolate dust… Other times it goes through the whole inventory.

I'll have to give this a try once I have more cash on my nooby acounts :)

The banking process is currently unstable due to a recent Runescape update.
The Simba devs are working on a fix as we speak, and it will be fixed very shortly! :)

The banking does work on some areas. (Soul Wars appears to be stable.)
However, there is a very good chance that the bot will eventually fail.

i am trying it now at sw, bit wary of scripts here to be honest ever since i used scar a long time ago and one of my accounts got banned fairly quickly.. even though i know scripts will be better now.

Working pretty well at the moment, how about adding more random movements and world switching? i don't think it has that.

By the way, what are the requirements for the leather maker you're working on? lunars?.

Well the banking for me is working fine; checking up often though. Also it seems you fixed the timers in f2p? Good work on the script. Started out great and keeps improving - running smoother than it has for me before and faster. Gone from 500k-7m so far on my junk account plus it doesn't seem people are dumping so prices have actually been increasing of the chocolate dust. =) Thanks man

Anyways, it goes to the bank and doesn't withdraw any but just hovers over the bars, then eventually logs out. It did however work for about 500 bars when I changed some of them to "Chocolate" "late bar" and so on. No idea what the actual fix for this would be =P

Unless you're running an old version of this script, the viewing angle should rotate if it can't find the correct text. It will then search for the uptext once again. I believe it'll repeat that process one more time then log out.

By the way you described it as "hovering over the bars", it sounds like you have an outdated version. Using the new version should fix your problem.

Changing the uptext to 'bar' and 'late bar' doesn't won't affect it too much. In fact, it has a less likely chance of finding the uptext if you have "late bar" set as the text to find (it increases the likelihood of something in the background matching the uptext color).

Oh got it thanks, that makes a lot of sense why it would be worse haha. Yeah it keeps working for a bit then stopping. I tried the newest version and it rotated a lot, then tried the older ones as they had worked for me so described it as that forgetting I was using an outdated one.

For the rotation instead of doing random 361 make the compus rotate west or north. This way the background will be trees and the uptext will be visible. Otherwise random 361 still gives a chance of failing. I applied these few changes and the script has not failed once.

It seems to want to work for me for a little bit, then it moves my character around and seems like it gets lost, says it can't find the bank, then logs me out. When it does work, though, it seems to work great.

Edit: Tried Varrock East and West Bank, Fally East Bank, and Al-Kharid Bank. The Al-Kharid bank seems to be the worst one so far. And I am changing the location every time I switch banks. It seems like the less the rotates, the longer it works.

Edit2: I set it up so that my same character is character one and two and it's been running for 15 minutes now pretty smoothly. The only thing now is that after crushing the bars, it takes about 9+ seconds to bank again. But I can live with that. Alright, it had me walk out of the bank, for the third time I believe, then signed me out. Since it's set to have 2 characters and they're the same, it signed me out and then right back in and when right back in the bank and continued crushing. I'm heading to bed for now, will check more tomorrow.

SRL recently updated their banking methods to utilize the newly added 1-click banking option at all banks in RS.
This is why the banking is a bit unstable. They should be able to perfect it soon.

Regarding the 9 second wait; make sure you have all of the settings set properly.
It sounds like you have set to "Knife" when you're actually using a "Pestle and Mortar."

I found the Varrock East bank is the best bank to use, if you can't use Soul Wars.

I cant get script to work for more than 15 minutes of it saying cannot find chocolate bars when there in left hand corner and mouse is hovering over it :S

Im having the same problem as everyone else, the bot hovers over chocolate bars in the bank and says it can't find any and log out. Btw I'm at soul wars

If anyone is wondering, it's an error with the "uptexts." I'm going to be adding an alternative way to find the chocolate bars.

And no, hobofight101. It does not work at the GE.
Please refer to the list of compatible banks I have listed on the script. I recommend Varrock West Bank.

I dont know if im doing something wrong, but for some reason the script has problems finding the chocolate in my bank after the 3rd time. Ive put it different places always the first one on the tab but it always acts weird. It states that it can't find anymore and logs out.

when i started the scipt everything works perfectly, but after 10-15 mins, the bot is suddenly clicking somewhere out of the bank or moving the sight, so that he couldnt see the bank-desks anymore, then he loggs out.

just put an "s" at the end of DTMS. Such as DTMSs. this will make it a different identifier than the other DTMS and also when you try to recompile, change to other one that it says is wrong to the same thing. Any questions, simply ask.

Change the procedure at line 130 to this.

It's just from the grand exchange, but once I saw I got one for 100 gp I bought as much as I can :) Maybe a chocolate bar collecting botter just needed cash immediately :p So I practically made 7.5M off of him :D

I temporarily quit Runescape, but I'm back now.
I'll be fixing this script, and making more improvements to it very shortly. Expect an update on the 9th of May. (I was busy on the 7th, so I moved it to the 9th))

To fix the "FreeDTMs" problem, simply rename the procedure "FreeDTMs" to something else such as FreDTMs.

And @ Ashley, thanks for the suggestions. I'm still a newbie at scripting in pascal. I'm sure I'll get better with a bit of time. :)

first off, this is a great script. my only problem, as stated in your title, the upTexts are unstable. I've tried multiple times, just after ~5 minutes, it refuses to recognize the bars every time.

People are stupid they sell them for minimum price because they can't wait 10 minutes for it to sell and that lowers the price. So if everyone sells for maximum grand exchange price it won't crash.
how do you know what the maximum price is?
just type in chocolate dust, then buy 1 like 1k over the price (dont worry you will get most of the money back) then record that price and sell all of your chocolate dust for that price.

(the maximum price may change, so in this case just cancel your offer and then find the new maximum price) this works for any item so dont be an idiot and crash all the prices of items that people are making money off of,

Im sorry my friend but after i fixed this problem, i encounted yet another problem :(

The stupid bot can not seem to find the chocolate bars. It clicks bank, hovers over the choclate bar, then does nothing. In the script it says
'Could not find Chocolate Bar (wrong uptext). Trying again…'
Sometimes it finds the chocolate bars and will do 2 loads, then logs out.

HOWEVER, I FOUND FIX FOR THIS :D …
All you gave to do is change 'number of player' to '2' , then add another player (add your own player again).
I did this incase the bot logged out because it could NOT find the chocolate bar …. turned out it somehow found them :/

Also change your mouse speed to '30' …..

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this error?:
