I posted this on powerbot too so if seems familiar, dont flame.

Gonna post some more screenies soon. When I first started scamming like this, I made 600m without taking screenies. Then I realized it would be kinda amusing to see how much Iv gotten, didnt really keep tack and started taking pics. All these pics you see now are after the golden age of this type of scam when about 20% of all scrolls worked. Now pretty hard to find the right scrolls but Iv still made 100m today. Rate/hate but dont spam, thanks Gonna post about 200m more worth of flips/scams whatever you want to call it, in a week when I get access to my old computer.

Short intro to my scamming and ge. When you are the only supplier in ge, you can sell a 200 gp item for 7k. Thats what Im doing. Took some hours to get the required scrolls and finding ones with no supply, sometimes I made scrolls from pouches. No scroll here is worth more than 200 in ge. You need to find the right buyer, scroll and have a bit luck. Usually too me no more than 15 mins for each scam. All money you see are at least 95% profit.
I told people to buy items for me in ge because I tell them Im maxed in ge. This way I get anyone to buy these scrolls which are complete junk.

The scam doesnt work that well anymore because finding the right scroll is nearly impossible due to supply of scrolls from scammed people who refuse to believe they were scammed :S

This is a pretty sweet method, I will have to give it a go sometime!

I'm sure it would work with other items aswell….as a Legit I buy random items for ~10k over their like 2k price just to get it instantly.

I made 15m from 1k coconut shells one time. Getting the whole supply is sometimes pretty tough.

It works with broodo shields :).

This is sure a good one to try out, but how much money do you suggest to start with?

You need around 2m to start with. The problem is getting the scrolls with no supply.

You buy 5k some scroll that has no supply in ge. You will end up paying 1m max for those. Then you go to ge and yell "any1 has 30m in cash". Then someone says yes, and tell em you are maxed in ge and ask em to buy the scrolls that you got in ge. You put an offer for 6.5k for example and tell em to buy 6.6k ea, and tell you pay 300 over market.

All the scrolls. I paid around 100 gp per each per scroll and asked people in ge to buy those scrolls from ge 6k ea or so. The scrolls are junk

I did this sort of thing with addy full helms except I didn't ask people to buy them. Bought them at 1-2K and sold them at 10K. :)

step 1, find item that is not traded
step 2, sell a large amount of that item for a few k more than you paid in GE
step 3, attract customers to your over priced items by asking them to buy them for you (telling them u will pay more for said item then your currently sellng them for)
step 4, once the item is bought by the other person (who thinks your gonna buy it back for more) your just leave and take your money out of the GE

Well, the I used to make 80m every day for like a bit more than week but then it was impossible to find a scroll with no supply since scammed people were trying to sell their scrolls. This method still kinda works but just rarely, reason why I released the pics.

Yes. The hard thing is finding a scroll with no supply (or very little which I can just buy). I just tell people im merching the scrolls and Im maxed and offer them 300 over the price they buy the scrolls for. Works for some people, not for most. Takes some time and practice.

You go to ge and find out a scroll thats nearly depleted…
You then buy a few k's of them keep em…
You then go and ask peep's to buy for you at 6.6k or so because you are maxed…
Then when they put their offer you proceed to selling you scrolls at 6.5k…
Then once you have sold your scrolls at 6.5k you just leave them with the scrolls which are like few hundred gp's now

Then you just repeat the whole thing again lool..

I did this with some emerald necklaces too. Got a pic of getting 22m cash from a 200k investment. Not bad

Not quite. I think hes saying all his buy/sell slots are filled so he cant buy it throuigh the GE. So he has someone buy it for him from the ge.

I agree that you shouldn't commit suicide over a game, however I was just giving an example: some people who play runescape aren't mentally stable or mature. Regardless, you shouldn't be careless about people's feelings.

Also he isn't just manipulating the items.. he's TELLING the person to buy it and he'll buy it from him, then when the guy buys it, he leaves. Call him a con artist, scammer, whatever - its all the same. You can't blame Jagex either, Jagex isn't causing this kid to scam other people.

Am I the only one who let a tear? That really touched me, I heard more about those stories about children getting scammed and losing there precious millions (It's worth a lot for them) and when they lost it… Or when there account gets hacked/recovered/hamstered(hamstringed) they commit suicide after spending years on the game and losing it all of sudden. Yes I do admit having easy cash ingame is nice, but not this way.

I don't know if you're able to push someone to suicide I call that a successful person. It is very rare when you can find someone that unstable that you can crush them that easily. Personally scamming to me is more my victory over that persons intelligence. I don't care about the gold or the money I take from them I just like the feeling of winning. :] Fun for all to be had.

I do this with other items, but you need a lot gp to be able to manipulate the prices.
It works best if you do it with a friend or two.

I believe what he is doing is:
Finding an item with NO supply or demand
Buy it for very cheap (100 gp ea he says)
Find someone in G.E. and ask them to buy from GE the certain scroll
However the only offer that sells them is the scammer
So the person getting scammed with end up paying 7k for scrolls that are junk

Not weak Necessarily or a "pussyhole". I'm 5'10" and about 185lb in real life I'm not buff or anything like that, but I work landscaping so I'm not necessarily scrawny. You are right though I wouldn't do something like that In real life, but I doubt you would do something like that in real life either, but Further more my post was somewhat of a joke not in a haha way, but in an overly extreme way that is not meant to be taken seriously it was actually my way of saying I'm against it by posting fun on the most extreme case scenario on the matter. I have actually made more than 220m on my best day. So far made around 2.4b or something along those lines. Scamming is bad but rs is dead anyways :S
