SRL Archive - RS3 Outdated / Broken Scripts

Requirements to run:

• The player must be wearing the Enchanted Water Tiara
• Your Pickaxe must be already worn
• Your first two inventory slots must be empty
• When using familiars you must have the correct Summoning pouches along with a supply of Summoning Potions in your inventory (picture below)
• summoning.Simba (included in the attachments)

To install summoning.Simba to your SRL library just download it from this thread and paste it in the "Includes > SRL > SRL > skill" folder.

Seems awesome, I'm glad it has Summoning support! I will definitely test this out right now.

Currently earning a consistent 39,500 experience per hour at 80~ Mining with a summoned Lava Titan and wearing Varrock Armour 4.

Sometimes while dropping the Granite, it will take a sip of Summoning potion IF a potion is located in either slots 9 or 10. This can easily be rectified if the potions are moved away from those slots so it's not really a problem.

Looks like I'll have to edit the familiar support a little bit. It still works but if your Summoning 'orb' near the minimap is completely drained but you still have a familiar the script will think you need to renew and drink summoning potions. So, for me atleast, it's drinking 2 times the amount of doses I need. Nothing serious, it still runs just fine and very stable.

Yes a friend of mine suggested doing just that. I was thinking of adding a timer to check the uptext every so often, just as long as we're not constantly hovering the mouse over the Summoning orb. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

The same issue with the "empty orb" making the bot think that you don't have a familiar applies to Naterzlite (sorry off topic, thought you should know)
^came across this when i wanted to make my own summoning function, but even if my player drank a dose of summoning potion to get points to summon a graahk, after the points ran out the script would just terminate :P

Taking a break from the nat crafting (Watching the prices drop by the day /sadface) to get 90 mining for promethium in dunging. This script is performing like a beast.

Yeah ugh, I had to do a few quests to unlock it myself, and I'm definitely no quester. ;) It was well worth it in the end. I'm busy with Runecrafting for the time being, but I'm really looking forward to personally using this script. I need Mining levels like crazy. :S

Yep you don't have to use familiars, there's an option at the beginning of the script asking if you use them or not, as well as which familiar you're using.

40k per hour thats great im a use mining urns as well i cant do summoning or the varrock armor its just so happens im a high lvl but low summon not verry many task or quest beat

You have your settings correctly? Like, brightness, low detail, etc?
You can always change rocks' color..

I am a low lvl and just maid a acc to test bots with and to get 99 mining. but her is a screen shot. (lvl 63 mining). if you are using waterskins and the set up i am it should last around 3 hours.I WOUNDNT USE THEM IF YOU ARE GOING TO AFK cuz your acc will die:p

Change this:

To this:

LampSkill    := Skill_Mining;

To disable Summoning simply change "UseFamiliar" (line 24?) to False. That should be really obvious…

could you add to the script to be able to use humidify spell to use waterskin every 3 hrs it should cast the spell , this will help the players that doesn't have water tiara :)

i dont see what all the effort is about with water tiara.. im using regen brace and its been there for 3 hours and its still at 900 hp

You can't see them in your scripts?
Make sure you installed SIMBA.
Make sure you downloaded de script ( the granite one ).
Make sure you downloaded the summoning file ( so you can use a familiar ).
Update everything.

And click run.

he probably thought downloading a script will make it auto-added to the simba client/MSI list.

Sorry script manager dont exist yet, u have to run the file u just downloaded everytime u want to use it.

Well, there are some randoms that are impossible to do at the moment. Also, it could be a lack of FindRandoms at the script ( forgot the right term ).

Yes same for me too. Just spam clicks the rocks. Sounds like a cool script when it worked!

It doesn't work because DidRedClik and DidYellowClick doesn't work due to the recent update from Jagex. (Or whatever is called).
Script has no problem. You need to update SRL, or wait for the update.

Can you add support for non enchanted water tiara mining? I haven't done the quest on my main so it would be helpful.

Just make it so you have to start with waterskins in your inventory, and when it runs out it logs out. Would be very appreciated.

Well…exp rate is lower. Doing quests wouldn't be a waste of time! You always need quests for an ocasion.
I would high recommend you to make the quests!

You can have Urns on you inventory. You can only fill 10 urns. You have to teleport those 10 if you want to fill more, after that.
I use to do that, but make sure you have space for familiars/summoning pots, if you are using.

Yes, indeed. But it's always good to control the rate/exp. Something it goes low, and I try to fix whatever is causing the lower exp.

that was the correct thing to do, or you could simply add ' comment ' -> //
in front of that line.

Delet line ´'lamp skill mineing; and it should work and sometimes with windows 7 you need to restart simba 4 to 5 times until it works =P

Ok some problems with script when its mineing it clicks way to fast and its not droping any of it ??? Any one got a quick fix on it.Other than that it really is a good script just needs to be updated =)

yea its useful to take scrolls also and bank the 5kg… makes you about 300k/h with that also

Yes indeed! Used this script till 99 :) no problems with it.
Also…quests are a big help! I think there won't be any updates (adding waterskins) because people can simply do the quest, or get tokens from dunge! Leave that lazyness, bud! :)

Very nice script, only thing I don't like is how it only works flawlessly at the north spot. The other spots make it usually click someone else's rock within like 2 minutes. Would be nice if you made it only click 3 rocks in a row.

Can you make the script so that it only drinks the summoning pot right before renewing? It might conserve some potion doses.

Ok when it moves the mouse over a Lava Titan pouch, does it right-click?

It doesn't seem to do anything once it's gone, just doesn't summon another, continues mining

Yeah you could, youd have to just disable smart and do it when needed, nightmare though lol why not just get tiara :)

Like Mindset said, better get the tiara, so that the nightmare never begins! :)

Also, that problem with summoning the lava titan, could be a problem from SRL, or even from recent updates from Jagex, since those pouches have no dtm's, only OCR.

Do you see the "summoning.simba" attached to the main post? Download this as well, then where ever you downloaded it to simply copy and paste it here:
"(Main Simba folder) > Includes > SRL > srl > skill".

Could you add waterskin support i know you said you wount but i cant possiably do any of the quests on a lvl 3.

Granite 50, 60, 75 <—-Without Pickaxe 100, 120, 150 <—- With Pickaxe About 136 Ores can be mined per pickaxe gaining anything from 13.5- 16.5k more xp so if you could work out how many ores an hour you mined you could come back manualy and wield one.

Haven't played RS in like a year, not familiar with the updates.

Works fine! I only wonder if theres someway to limit the distance my guy will travel to rocks, as he mines one, then runs across the quarry when there was a rock right next to him to begin with. This leads to stealing from other guys and being very obvious

looks like a great script, a few suggestions:

Also why the extensive text hunt for pouch/potion lol, wont affect xp rate too much though i guess :garfield:

I also find using stimulated Mousekeys to drop full inv faster xp than M1D1 but i guess M1D1 could potentially be safer and allows more slots for pouch etc.

For those who are too lazy to do the quest for the water tiara, some alternatives are:
1. tome of water (i'd say the best method, completely free and can be used for other purposes too)
2. Enhanced excalibur (it will heal more than any dmg u take, though ur xp/hr will be very slightly lowered)
3. Waterskins with humidify (low req. but less slot for pouch/urn)

For 2&3 u need a little bit of scripting knowledge to add them but its really simple and u can learn how to do it in less than 1hr. I would give some hints;):

The file has to be there, be it you disable OR enable Summoning support. Just out the freaking file in the directory.

Ok, here's what I suggest doing. Run the script, wait for SMART to load up, stop the script, disable SMART (so you can log in manually), log in, enable SMART, run the script.

That's what I did when it would just stand there doing nothing. I started the script, got those lines in the text box, turned of SMART, logged in, turned on SMART, and then he just stand there. I have even seen other players using the same exact bot and I stand right where they're standing and start it and nothing happens. It's like the bot will start up RS but then it either doesn't know what to do or it can't tell that RS has started up.

My Smart wont even load fml.

When I click run, it opens a new tab called paintsmart and highlights:

Every now and then the script will click on a random item in the inventory with it highlighted, consequently causing the uptext to be "Use Vial on Granite rocks" for example. The script then bugs and causes the script to constantly search for the granite rocks, causing the player to stay logged in indefinitely.

This has only started happening recently, possibly, starting only yesterday.

This script is still working perfectly for me. It's pretty awesome that it's still on its 1.0 version.

Yeah, it is. I just stopped using summoning and still getting around 44K experience an hour. Is there any way of dropping the random event rewards upon receiving them? My antirandom doesn't seem to be working properly and every time I get one, it will choose the mystery box and not end up dropping the reward from that.

What is the average amount of xp gained per hour with about 76 mining?

Expect at least 35K.

I've tried altering it, but with no luck. It's the line that designates mining as the skill to get xp for if you get a lamp.

Edit: I just deleted the line. I doubt I'll get many lamps anyways.

Can you make it so items that get into the first two slots will be dropped even if the drop option is only 2 spaces down? Whenever I get the rewards from random events, the script fails to drop it, but instead examines it constantly and messes everything.

Yeah you could definitely do that if you wanted. It's a really simply simple script actually, if someone wanted to modify it to cast Humidify after X amount of waterskins were used, it should be no problem.

Please, please don't be afraid to modify any scripts to your own liking, everyone. Every script you find on SRL is open-source, why not modify them? If you have changes you'd like to make, by all means, go for it it.

Thanks for this script - been running for about a week now and it's almost faultless. Summoning working perfectly and it hovers around the 38k - 40k xp/hr.
I know some other scripts get higher XP rates, but nothing's trying to kill me, it's relatively quiet and easy to find an empty world and it just plods along bringing in the XP. But Randoms every hour or so - never had this many anywhere before. I agree with people that the random rewards sometimes don't clear from slot 1 and it confuses it - but hey, it's better than failing the random.
I do have a question - occasionally I've found it stalled/stuck where it's clicked an empty vial and is then trying to click a rock (the vial is 'highlighted' in the inventory). If I disable SMART, click on vial or drop it, then enable, all continues as normal. Definitely not a problem and not complaining, just thought it worth a mention. So glad I've got this script to do mining, couldn't do it without it..thanks Flight.

Only thing I noticed is that it tends to drink a lot more summoning potions than it needs, perhaps do something like: if summoning points == 0 && new pouched is needed -> drink pot -> summon pouch

Does anyone else have trouble with strange rocks? When it tries to destroy the rock, it gets stuck. It clicks the next granite rock before it hits "yes" to destroy rock.

I just had an unusual error. I came back to the script to find a boot in my first inventory slot. It seems that Simba solved a random and did the surprise box reward and got a boot. The problem is that the script kept choosing the examine option on the boot instead of drop.

Just thought I would point that out.

Make sure that everything is set up right and that your graphic options are correct. You should be on fixed screen, minimum display, and max brightness.

Occasionally, it will have issues detecting rocks so I will restart the client a couple times until it works. Chances are, however, you missed a step when setting up Simba.

Forgot to post, last bxp you got me to 77 mining (quest requirement)
easy xp and no reports, what I mostly hate about mining is the reports, so this really helped me a lot, thx!

Thanks Flight, fantastic script - does exactly what it says and flawlessly too. You've taken me from 82 to 93 so far …..Mining has to be the slowest XP ever. One observation, I've done different runs over the past few days, first with Lava Titans, then without, at same times of the day. And there is no difference at all (in fact I got slightly higher XP without but only by 150 xp/hr or so.) Average Xp is 39900 hr.

I recently found out about Simba, and this Granite script is wonderful. I love you.
Getting ~42k exp per hour at 76. Checking my SMART window once in a while and haven't noticed any bugs/glitches yet. Awesome!

A bit buggy now.. It won't stay on one row and keeps running back forth from either side of the quarry mining one and then running to the other section.. I've tried to fix it myself but it hasn't particularly worked. :(

Just ran it for 2 hours solid flawless 35k xp/hour with lava titan rune pick only 67mining lol 69 now, and just got mad necklace so this'll get me 70k xp /hour :D need 76 for quest -_-, thanks for script :)

Flight, great script, but is there any chance that you can add an XP failsafe or something that will end the script after a set period with no gain?

If a random is completed, an item in the first two slots can ruin the script, leaving it constantly clicking it. Also, I checked it once to see it trying to 'use' a lava titan pouch on the granite for some reason and had been doing so for hours :(

I've found a slight bug with the script: when mining you can sometimes get up to 2 "strange rocks" from the Shattered Heart activity. When these are obtained the bot continually tries to drop them but never succeeds since they are a destroy item.

This isn't a bug. The script drops anything that is in the first two slots of the inventory. It is intended for granite, and therefore clicks the same location on the drop down menu each time. If there is an item that doesn't have Drop in that location, it will just continue trying to drop it.

Ideally, there could be a failsafe. As it is, you just need to plan accordingly and make sure you have already collected your mining rocks.

I see. A failsafe would be great, but yeah - definitely a good idea to babysit it for the first several minutes to make sure you don't get a strange rock or anything.

You can just comment that line out:

//LampSkill    := 'Mining'; 

I tell you what Flight! your hooking me up with two of the longest skillcapes to get in all of rs! Been using this script now for almost 2.5 m xp and i tell you what it works like a charm

The only issue Ive had was that the script would accidently click on a pouch without the intention of summoning it and would remain idle until I personally clicked back on a granite rock.
Although I will say this issue has since been resolved since I started placing my pouches underneath my potions in the inventory. so whenever it has the misclick it simply drinks a potion and continues as normal.

Going for 99! lol i know its not the fastest method but simba doesnt have any LRC mining scripts worth using atm…well if you dont count AshamanggzzLRC but that doesnt count since Ill never be able to use it :(

I dont know how you do it so well, but this is the 2nd script of yours which is flawless.

For me all it does is spam the debug with 'No rocks, waiting' I've tried different spots and brightness levels, so if anyone could offer a hand with this?

Just change the break time so that it's more than 6 hours (360 minutes).

Make sure that you have either a mining or overall experience counter setup. Also, make sure it doesn't read Lots! That should fix the proggy reading zero.

Please do a search and read the first post. You are missing the summoning include.

Yes, at the moment this script is outdated and I must work on it a bit. I'm a bit occupied with other scripts at the moment but it is on my to-do list. I apologize for the down time.
