So I was doing a slayer task the other day, and I bring my dreadnips with me to speed up some kills(they do help a lot, like a free cannon). Anyways, I was at greater demons in brimhaven.
I went to attack one, deployed my dreadnip, got pj'd by another, and was able to attack both at the same time in SINGLE-WAY comabt. Even after the dreadnip died off, I was still able to attack both of them. There is no multi-way combat in this area, and I tried to attack 2 without the dreadnip, it wouldn't work.
I haven't tried it on other monsters, or tried it with more 2 monsters, but I'm fairly sure this wasn't intended. In order to replicate this, just go attack an aggressive monster in single way, deploy your dreadnip, and get attacked by another one(by not attacking the first one and running away). I wonder if you don't kill either of the 2 monsters if it allows you to engage multi combat in all single combat areas.
Let me know if you guys can also get this to happen.
