while it is moved to a vserver on nala. (The stuff that really takes time is importing the DB…)

So I assume any stat commits during the downtime won't be applied, yeah?

what's the DB size? just wondering
took like 20 minutes to import a 120MB forum one I had.. thought that was super slow but I guess tables and stuff converting is hard to do for computers :P

probably moving it to a vserver for load balancing or security.. keeping db's on separate vservers

It has been moved to the equivalent of a BSD Jail. (Linux VServer in this case), making the server more secure.

I think the database is at least 500MB now. Probably more, but the import seemed to take very little time.

More secure, that's a good thing! Wish I knew more general info about that, but maybe in time, ya? Wizzup, when do you think this will be completed?

Pretty sure its already done, or he hasn't started it yet? Because commits are being read on stats (you can go look at commit list too).

Lets hope everything goes quick.
