How good of a scripter do you think I could be? I seriously have no idea, as I can't really concentrate on stuff alot… Short attention span, you know? But overall I do pretty good in school, no C's or anything.

well sorry to say, but this is one of the dumbest questions i've ever seen lol. How are we supposed to know how good of a scripter you can be? It all depends on you, and how much time and dedication you put into it.

Why arent the options Average scripter and wizzup merged ?

The more effort you put into something, the more you get out of it.

Btw I also get distracted easily, but once I get into something, I can go for a few hours on one thing.

I can sit there and read tutorials for 5 hours straight :D they really fascinate me. only problem is my parents wouln't let me ever :( you could be the best scripter that you put the effort into being. Your destiny is up to you, not up to us to vote :p

Well everyone is right, the greatness of a scripter can only be judged by the effort and dedication they put into there work, or atleast thats what i think :) i just started learning this 2 days ago and i made almost 4 scripts :D

Set a goal for yourself. If you want to be a good scripter then you should have a scripter as your idol because he/she has the same kind of thoughts as you. Personally my idol is Yakman because he likes to do useful scripts not just rs scripts. Thats the best advice i can give.

It's not up to us to decide how good of a scripter you will be. It's your choice on how hard you work. We can't teach you. You can only teach yourself. We're not forcing you to punch how to script into your head.

Maybe you should take a good look on yourself and ask yourself if you really want to become a scripter. Because, a good scripter wouldn't ask others whether he was good or not.

Forget about us. We don't matter. If you are going to use how good we think you are as motivation, then don't even try. You won't get anywhere. If you are satisfied at yourself, then you are a good scripter.

This is becoming a real somewhat emotional and inspiring thread…. this should be a movie…. but we can teach you just look at the tuts lol also not to be mean but :google: :duh: :D

look at examples, they helped me the best.. to understand how to script.. ;)
