The Forum Guide for VillaVu

• Are you new to forums?

This guide will be split into 4 sections:

1. Navigation Bar
2. The mechanics of making a post
3. How to Join IRC
4. Links section

Navigation
Let us begin, On our bar we have

• User CP
Fairly important, from this menu you can:
• Edit your details (view link above).
• View your reputation (This really doesn't mean anything but it is nice).
• Customize your profile (Make it look snazzy, with colors)
• Edit profile picture (Mine is mufasa :D)
• Edit General settings (Like signature etc. 5 Lines max)
• Contact section is only useful if you add people on the site
• The rest shouldn't concern anyone.
• FAQ
Simply takes you back to the homepage (VillaVu.com)
• Community
• If you joined any social groups you can access them from this
• If you have an album/etc. you can also access those here
• Contact your friends list here as well! (No not your runescape friend list)
• View every member with the memberlist!
• Calendar
• View birthdays! (Other events, but mostly birthdays)
• New Posts
• Looking to post somewhere, check the new posts! (Don't Spam)
• Search
CLICK ME
• Quick Links
• No need for explanation, it has a bunch of links you can find via User CP (But ready for quick access!)
• iSpy
• I use this frequently, Every new post gets automatically updated (It is a running feed of new threads/posts) Great for the avid poster!
• Log Out
• Guess.

The mechanics of making a post.

How to use HTML (BB)
Now I don't expect you to become a css html wizard, all you need to know how to do is and CLICK the function you want to happen to the text you just highlighted.

Lets practice:
Make this image show up on the boards:

• First lets highlight the imagetext and right click "COPY"
• Now click the button for pictures (Refer to legend above).
• Paste the link in.
• Bam you have a pretty picture.
• Your code should like this:
[noparse][/noparse]
• The picture should look this after you post:

Align all of this text to the center, then add bulletin points:

Hello
I 
Like
To
Eat
Food

• First Highlight all the text
• Press the Center Align button (Refer to legend above)
• Now press the bulletin list button (The list should still be highlighted!)

A) Become SRL member
B) Become junior SRL member (100 posts or more and have been registered for at least 3 months.)
