Sometimes SMART takes a very long time to start up. I'd recommend changing your task manager settings to high for Simba, this may or may not help you out in terms of lag time of smart. Are you sure you're giving it enough time to start up even? Or are you stopping the script right away.

If you're using Windows 7, right click, run as administrator…

If you're using Windows Vista… right click the file, go to properties, advanced, then select run as administrator in the options.

If you're using Windows Xp…
  • Press SHIFT and hold, right-click the program icon, and then click Run as.
  • To log on using an Administrator account, click The following user.
  • In User name and Password, type the Administrator account name and password that you want to use.

This has been answered a zillion times. Move the FPS slider on the right hand side all the way to the top.

Just started happening to me for the first time yesterday.
Just drag the slider/FPS bar on the right hand side of smart all the way up until you are at the login screen.
Once there drag it back down to where it used to be/even lower than it used to be.

(Higher up FPS bar = more CPU used = not necessary)

i need to bot!

Yeah, but the problem mentioned by DragoSense is that smart won't load at all… so there is no slider to pull up :'( i have this too

Yeah, SMART won't load at all. So I can't drag anything.

I've tried a lot of fixes so far. Nothing works.

Going to continue searching.
