Simba for Mac

I know that one can set up a virtual machine/ parallels. I also know about wine..however i can never get simba to work with wine and you can't use the posted scripts on the forums unless they are "copy and pasteable". (I think. I assume this because the scripts don't download with the winebottler symbol). It would be awesome if there were a release of a simba version for the mac.

I've searched for help on trying to run it on my mac and the tutorials i have found such as Cohen's were no help to me. If someone could write and in depth tutorial on how to at least run msi on the mac that would be helpful. There are probably tutorials out there however i was not able to find them.

The first step is to be able to compile Simba, then we need os specific layers (or use X11), and then it will be on par with Linux (which currently lacks behind our windows builds). After that is done, SRL-5 needs to be compatible with lape (it is, kinda) and we'll need to extensively test lape + linux/mac platforms.

This is the tutorial i tried using other than cohen's. It seemed as though simba would not save. Nothing would compile when i used wine either. Maybe you could do a teamviewer session to help me some time? I am pretty busy but I would pm you times i would be able to do it

I'm sorry I am newish to the programming scene. Are you saying it would be possible? If so how long in the future? I have a windows but it is OLD and terribly slow. I would love if I could script/ use simba on my mac
