Hi guys I just need a bit of advice whether I should bot range to a high level (70-80ish) on my chars. My current understanding is that ranging training on f2p is very slow on f2p compared to p2p and has little benefits because f2p ranging options are few.
So what do you guys think? I just want to get decent cb levels in either melee/range but I have never tried training with Narcle's so I don't really know how fast melee/ranged training is. Some advice would be great.

Ranged is awesome paired with melee on F2P! The classic range 2h pure is always a fun and easy account to make for some pking. Sure the methods are limited compared to P2P ranging but it's still worth training.
Of course it's slower to train on F2P but who cares when you can just bot it? ;d
Getting to 70 shouldn't take too long and it's fairly decent for F2P as well.
I trained my range to 80 at zombies in the dungeon below edgeville. ~ 20k exp/hour.

For training ranged i reccommend you:
lvl 1-15 goblins (4-6k/h) u can use a sling
lvl 15-45 minotaurs (10-15k/h) u can use sing, but i would use a oak/willow shortbow with iron arrows
lvl 45-70 flesh crawlers (17-21k/h) U should use a maple shortbow with iron arrows.
lvl 70+ depends of your def lvl kill giants, flesh crawlers, zombies… here you can bring again sling

maple/yew long sighted owns in f2p :D its super accurate! Longbow sight ain't too much work to get if you know how to legit dung
Attack some rune pker: hell come to you and finish with 2h :)

I'd suggest make your account members, train 99 range either at ranged guild or use chins. Then get 99 str + 40 attack. Maybe some prayer levels till 43 i believe and voila the perfect f2p r2h range pure
