So, thismorning as i wakeup, my acc is being hacked at the same time. LOL at rs hacking..ty for simba ;}. but only around 7mgot stolen,( My mains fine :] )
Just wondering, is their anything i can do if i got his IP adress?,
I re-install windows about every half a year, and start usually from fresh.. a couple old programs, but this is the first time my acc has got hacked,

anyone got any tips to help this from happening? :]

You can post the IP here and Mods can check if it's a user here, they'll probably end up being banned.

Probably an old RAT from any Java bots you used before. Reformat then change password. If you didn't grab the IP I don't think you can get it, other than maybe asking Jagex.

Are you assuming you got hacked due to a Simba script? I highly doubt it they are all open source, so you/anyone can look through code before running it.
Also if you didn't note down the IP address upon your first login I think it's too late to get it now.

i got the ip, i edited first post. And no i dont think its from a script, but im gonna double check everything, thisis just seeing if this happend to anyone else, and some tips to help protect my computer :], really wanna start scripting but i cant if my accs get hacked :(

If somone can turn that ip into all numbers I can check it out.

It was placed in Hex, then converted back to decimal then changed into real IP (I am pretty sure I did it right)

Ok, wtf. I can log in the my main acc and play, but i cant go into the settings and change password……. help???

the only bot i have used is epicbot, dont know if its a java bot. but ive reinstalled windows before using simba, shouldnt that have gotten rid of it?

Yeah, pretty sure Epicbot is a RAT. If you reformatted and haven't downloaded anything else after reformatting other than Simba, you should be safe. Unless you are using an illegal OS that could have viruses preinstalled, they could have kept your password from when you used their bot and didn't change it, etc.

EpicBot is not a RAT, :duh:. Also, illegal versions of Windows do not come with viruses.

EpicBot was hacked for a long period of time, it could easily of been a rat during that time period.

Illegitimate versions of Windows do occasionally come with virus's, you can put a virus on almost anything.

maybe phishing email? have you received email from jagex about your account and clicked the link and then logged in? :D
if yes then you got phished.
and maybe you played runescape private servers and got rat from client, or used same user and pass???
is your windows up to date?
have you downloaded "a runescape stats changer" etc?

if you did one of the above thats why you got hacked, also dont do things from above to be safe. also do full format and fresh installation of windows 7 and install latest updates and get free antivirus (avast maybe?)

agree with you, but not most of them have virus.
if you know a good team and you are 100% sure they are safe you can safety use their releases. its like when you downloading games, you know that razor will never have viruses.

This isn't the place for these kinds of discussions, but there are tons of fakes that use the same names. Those groups are scene groups that never upload onto P2P - all the P2P things you download from them are unofficial and could be virused. There is no reputable cracked Windows - all of them you download will be laced with something 99% of the time.

Well good news,i got my acc back. was locked for a few hours,

I don't use windows 7, i use Xp .i don't use my hotmail anymore, except to get my passwords back, signup for stuff etc. I have not used any RS private servers in a long time, and lol, i wouldn't even click on a "Rs stats changer". Everything is up to date. i think my friend put some files from his computer on mine, and someone put a wormhole on my sisters ipod, then she hooked it up to my comp.( I dunno if that would do anything).

i have been changing my pass ever since i got simba, fearing the script would back, cause of my computers lag, and try to sign in again with user and pass.( it has happened before, cant remember what scripts ) and i don't ever remember my old old passwords, so i don't think i used them again, always thinking of some other way to make passwords.

Well I'm gonna reformat this POS computer today, i guess if it happens after that i should chuck this piece of junk.
