SRL Archive - SRL Randoms

As of March 5th, 2012, the Pinball random is working. If, for whatever reason, the solver failed, please post the debug text (found in Simba/Includes/SRL/logs) and if you're willing to let an SRL developer use your account, PM the account details to one of the following developers:

Sorry it may be a problem with my script, but I got this random and all it did was spam on the bottom "Possible Random (all the diff randoms)" and just sat there doing that for a few minutes until I stopped the script. Using the FindNormalRandoms function

This random is fixed in the new system. Hopefully I'll have a beta version ready to test tomorrow.

The detection text changed for pinball I think. My player was sitting there at this screen for a while.

Yes that's definitely changed. Or, I didn't notice that before. I'll fix that as soon as I can. If you still have the account, please PM it to me.

I solved it legit, just pointing it out in case you have any in pinball :)

i have noticed my account hasn't been stuck in a random in 2 weeks,
not sure if i haven't had a random or these have improved a lot

I'm testing that new detection function, just haven't gotten the random yet. :p

Tagged all the posts, but it couldn't exit the random because it kept clicking the edge of the exit; there's a light green bordering the darker green exit. Had to manually do the random, but this is what it says.

That's the first I've heard of the exiting failing. The color can probably just be edited a little. I'm going to need an account to test with, though.

Hmmm, possible fail safe to add repeat looking for the post? The two times I have gotten this random, it would do the first 2 or 3 posts fine then write in "Found the post" but get stuck not tagging it. Possibly if not result after time repeat?

There is a timeout. If it isn't tagged after a certain amount of seconds it looks for it again.

Solved the random perfectly, then had trouble finding the door.. kept raising the camera angle and clicking under my player.

For the record - I have been getting a few pinball randoms and it seems FindNormalRandoms sometimes fails to detect the random. I don't know how to reproduce the problem exactly and I just solved it legit :( Will try to get an account for testing if I crash into pinball again.

Problem with it at the moment is that it fails to exit after it's finished tagging the pillars.

I have no suck problem with the random (not yet anyway), I will post a screenie in a sec if I can find one of the last time I got one.

E: It solved it nicely, despite few misclicks on the beginning. Camera angle changed before it clicked the right one.

The pinball worked for me up to 5 tries then tried exiting. It should go up to 10?

Did random fine, but then logged out because it couldn't "find" the exit. Same thing happened for me with evil bobs island random a few days ago. can anybody tell me why it's solving the randoms fine but not exiting them? It's really annoying :duh:
