Well, most of us "leechers" are new to this, and do not even know what "leeching" means, I know now, but I did not at first, I thought id ask the community for a script I was looking for, but instead I just got flamed. I'm sorry for being a leecher, but before you flame us newbies, explain to us what to do.I came to the SRL because I heard it was a good community/bot from a freind of mine, after using Powerbot and Rsbuddy I was unaware I had to make scripts to recieve them, and trust me, I now understand why and it's perfectly reasonable. Just before us new guys get flamed and put down, inform us.

The problem is when said people don't bother reading any of our many topics on what to do/not to do, don't bother searching, and ask questions that have been answered at least dozens of times in the past. Sometimes even questions that were answered right above their post.
I agree with what is posted above. People sign up for the forums and instead of checking them out they just jump in(sometimes at wrong places) asking for things that ANYONE could do if they simply read a thing or two. I think the forum is very straight forward and easy to navigate. Anything else said about that is just because the poster is lazy. Look thru each sub-forum. There are guides to do things and yes you can request things with out having to pay a price but think it out first and look at what is already there.
Also the "sour attitude" lately is because people lately are reflection bums. "I installed Simba but it no work HELPS!" Stupid things like this are being said. Along with other off site issues/abuse.

Exactly agree with post 2 and 3.
Its rather annoying to hear the same crap over and over about people having "issues" with the client or a script they just downloaded.
Instead of reading anything they assume its like RSBuddy or Powerbot. Leechers come and go or stay and only have 1 post while downloading free pubic scripts. Which is why i want the damn Junior Member section back

Those reflection bots were too good lol, everyone got spoiled using them. All you really needed to do was download the program, run it immediately, log in, load some script already built in and start macroing. Finest spoonfeeding ever

Not true. We've always had leechers. Just not nearly so many before as after the bot nuke.

Guys, people that come from rsbuddy/powerbot arent used to this, at those bots, people want there scripts to be used by the public, you have to understand that.

Again, alot of scripters prefer theyre scripts be used by the public.
And a lot of scripters would prefer the methods they spend the time to script for not be ruined by over-usage from stereotypical leeches, Teh.

Ha maybe if they are getting paid for it? Here we are lucky that some people make some scripts that they decide to let the public use and learn from. I can't even imagine the great scripts some members have made for themselves, not even to be posted in the SRL members section. Consider yourself lucky they put something together for you to use.
On the flaming note, I do see where you are coming from I've seen some unnecessary flaming, but then again a lot of that can be avoided if you do some simple searching.
Actually 98% of us don't even play Runescape anymore… :p
