Can you get sued for botting using colour scripts?

Ask a lawyer, not here. We aren't your legal advise, but no one here has reported anything like that.

You can get sued for anything, does that mean you'll loose the case?

If you have the money, you could sue someone and keep tying up their money in litigation costs.

More importantly would a judge accept the case what are jagex going to sue you for actually.

I havnt looked into this but I have heard about they put the threat out there.
But what have they actually got on you tho I personally think it would be laughed out of court.

That's where counter-suing comes in, make them pay the court fees and "emotional distress".

Sure, but JAGEX won't and will not win if they did.
Thr legal system couldn't give any less shits if you are using macros for a video game.
You are fine and safe. It's ridiculous to even ask such a question.

If my intent was to threaten people and destroy their credibility or reputation, then possibly. Is this not exactly what Jagex has done with several cases?

I honestly don't know, I never followed the cases.

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice. Using a reflection bot can in some sense (though I and many people disagree with) a violation of DMCA. That violation is what gives grounds for a lawsuit in a judges eyes, and is why a lawyer would be willing to try a case. Using a program that searches colors and clicks them to automate playing of a video game in NO sense violates DMCA. No lawyer worth his salt would be willing to take the case because they know there is a 0% chance of a win. And lawyers don't normally accept cases they don't at least have a chance of winning. So personally, it is not something I am worried about. But it is something that concerns me if I wanted to release a new java reflection bot, I wouldn't, because I wouldn't want to be sued.

Don't think that's gonna happen, my friend. RiD has been making $$ off selling macro programs purely for Runescape for years, and they've not been sued. So why any of us?

Well that kinda depends onto wich country the owner / creator of the program is located at. If he is located at China, i.e. Gold4Fun/Gold4RS is, they cannot be followed by any lawsuits, as China is not shipping or anything their citizens to any other countries, thats also how Gold4RS/Gold4Fun has survived, else they would of been gone.
