Alright so a few months ago I saw Paranormal Activity. It wasn't scary when I saw it but when I go to sleep the images flash in my mind and I get freaked out by every noise. Please help, what do I do?

Also, that movie was hilarious! My mate and I couldn't stop laughing…

Lol I felt the same way man. Just forget about it, remember it's not real and it's just a movie, their all payed actors/actresses. Now am I saying I don't believe in ghost? No, trust me I do. They are among us along with the satanic cults such as in the movie. I believe it to be true. But every night I just put on some happy music and try to sleep. Goodluck (:

Paranormal Activity just seemed funny/terrible to me however when my girlfriend watch it she was scared for a while after she watched it she couldnt sleep for several days :/ My opinion listen to *happy Music* to calm you down before you sleep

Yeah and if it does you get the **** out of there unlike how he stayed around.. But with all seriousness just try to forget about it, always remember it's just a movie. I believe that something will come maybe not in 2012 December, 21 as everybody says but I believe something will happen.

Drink some kind of alcohol. It helps you sleep for sure. :D

Just take some sleeping pills or drink a lot of Vodka before you go to your bed :)

I try and face them but, when I get sleepy I just start thinking of it and it freaks me out, and then I heard that you have to invite the demon into your house for it to happen. I am so creeped by that because I want to invite the demon but I don't, it's just how my mind works!

If you think about PA rationally, it's honestly so stupid. But It does do a pretty good job of making perfectly normal things that happen in people's houses sound like ghosts. Do you have an ipod or something to watch a movie on?

I beat up the monsters. Works for me, haven't had a nightmare in like 4 years.
So let's say a ghost is coming at me, and it's got a knife, and it's about to stab me.
I've got the scared face on right, and it's smirking before it kills me - then I start to smirk (and the ghost is like 'what's he smiling at?' - and I pull out da vacum cleaner and suck that b**** right in!
Then I play the ghostbuster theme music, date a fine chick, and the dream ends well.
See, the imagination is powerful, but you can control it. Anything it comes up with, you can counter by changing your own illusion. Kind of like Rock-Paper-Scissors.

If im scared I always pray to God if he would be with me and ask him to put his angels in my room to protect me. It works great and the fear does go away and it replaces for a calm peace in me. And maybe you think i dont know if God exists or you dont believe in him. Well just try it out :p He says; You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with your heart.
