One Problem with the SPS Idea having each trap on them. Everyone who uses the bot, would be fighting each other.
Soz forgot to say that you can start your character any where the. Just use a formulae. Like say player is standin on 0,0 and we want to make a cross (eg. Middle there's a trap ,top left ,top right, bottom left and bottom right will all have traps!! ) so again we are;
@0,0 1 trap will go there.
@-1,+1 a trap will go there. ( Top left corner)
@-1,-1 a trap will go there. ( Bottom left corner)
@+1,+1 a trap will go there. (Top right corner)
@+1,-1 a trap will go there. (Bottom right corner)
By -1 or +1 I mean from the starting point so if our starting point is;
@1600,400
Then first trap will be @1600,400 the rest will be as follows;
@1599,401 (Top left)
@1599,399 (Bottom left)
@1601,401 (Top right)
@1601,399 (Bottom right)
^^ yep like that r you coul define a box area in SPS and lay a trap on random point
In the script it could be like this;
Procedure TrapSetup;
Var
StartingPoint:Tpoint;
Begin
Startingpoint := SPS_GetMyPos;
SetupTrapFunc(-1,+1,true); // dunno true could be Boolean for wired to stand next to that trap or another ?
WaitforStill; // procedure to wait for player to finish laying trap
SetupTrapFunc(-1,-1,false);
WaitforStill; // same a last
SetupTrapFunc(+1,+1,false);
WaitforStill; // " "
SetupTrapFunc(+1,-1,false);
WaitforStill; // " "
End;
Just an example it can work out… Of some1 steals 1 spot so be it? People don't normally do that I think so hopefully they won't :/ SPS ftw?
Written from IPod.So might not be so smooth in terms of how well it'd work
