I've just been lent a main account with 99 fishing from one of our Registered Users here at SRL! So I was thinking that making a Rocktail fisher for Living Rock Caverns. I had previously known nothing about them ahah! http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Living_Rock_Caverns

I was wondering which of the SRL members would be able to test it if I make one? You need a pretty high fishing level and also a members account which makes it pretty rare that people are able to use the script! I'm guessing it could make loads of money though! Raw Rocktails are currently worth 2.5k each!

I think I'll probably use a blind walk and symbol finding for the walking.. Any other ideas for this script are very welcome! Thanks all!

Yeah I can test it. But I would worry about making the script first. Since you've never been to the LRC area I think you should thoroughly scout it out and see what you're getting yourself into. There's a reason I haven't even attempted that one yet. ;)

Yeah, I've been there once already and I can tell it's going to be some hard work. But I can always try :p Even if it doesn't work out, at least I'll learn some new things :)

A lot of protection from the monsters in LRC came from the mass amounts of bots that were there.

Seems you would die even more often now.

If you go on an 'official' world, there are heaps and heaps of people there that could offer protection. But then and again, I don't know how crowded it is with bots.

I need one these also im 92 <>< atm so can use cavefish shoal and rocktail shoal and able to run for hours at a time too :)

I honestly think you would be better off waiting until SPS 2 (If it's not out yet, that is) to attempt this. I've found while running many accounts to 99 with anything to do with LRC, one little bot-like mistake and you are mass reported by all of the legit players there, lol. Not to mention the sheer amount of player mods there.

Yes, good idea having it able to detect both cavefish shoal and rocktail shoal, then the bot would be able to run more smoothly.

I was actually going to wait for SPS 2 because it sounds much more accurate than the current SPS. But then and again, I could make my own map walking functions too that are specifically for the script :)

Yeah, but how would you get past the massive line of people? If there is still people like that, that is.

Hmm.. that is indeed a problem with SPS. That's why I think if I made my own functions using the black patches on the mini-map, the blue of the water, plus the symbols, it might be better. What I'm saying is, it might be more effective to use points on the mini-map that people can't walk on.

I would really love to test this script when you are ready 92 fish at the minute and would use till 99 too as thats were I have currently been fishing :) and world 84 seems the best world to bot in for rockys.

The 'official' world was only the 'official' world because the nexus bot told its users to go there lol.

I'm sure legits are still there, but the population there cannot be in the same as before.

Did you even attempt this? now i got my main 99 fletch with your script I am going for 92 to 99 fish on rocks or cavefisH? did you start it? if so can I have what you have now and ill mnake some additions?

I was doing really poorly, and then the guy changed the password on the account he lent me :S

But after I get 99 cooking (should be fast), I'll aim for 99 fishing and re-attempt the project. I'll put the project up on github so everyone who wants to work on it can :) Give me a sec.

All the different functions were tested in different simba files. The name tells you what it was doing. If you could loan me an account that would be awesome! Although, I'd like it after I release my cooking script. I'll PM you when I'm ready :)
