Hey guys, for the past few days I've been mulling over making an LRC bot, i know it would be very difficult to make a fully functioning bot that you wouldn't have to babysit (even in the rsbuddy/powerbot days it was difficult to come by good reliable lrc bots) anyways, i was thinking to start with i'll make a semi-afking aid, so how it'll work is that you take your character to the concentraded gold ore and click mine, thats where you'll enable smart and the bot will super heat the gold ore and drop it if (drop it as its doing super heat animation so it doesnt interrupt mining). After the rock collapses you just disable smart and move your character to the next concentrate ore. Im hoping to perfect this then move on to maybe trying to make a fully functioning LRC bot.


Footnote: would the semi-afking aid be enough to apply for SRL membership?

I thought about this as well because I would like to get 99 mining and smithing. Also it would benefit others. Anyways….

My thoughts were to make a script that moves the character between the 3 or so gold spots until it finds the gold and then begins to mine. I can not remember how the rocks worked but isn't it true that there is at least 1 available spot always or is there a possibly down time(which could be handles by an amount of times walked before a wait) and obviously once it is full it would go bank.

This would be more of a higher level script I would expect since it wouldn't be safe to try otherwise(unless 1 item-ing)

Yeah i think i'll attempt to make the afk aid that superheats/drops first, then i'll try work out if its viable for someone with my experience to create such a script

*sigh* I remember KMiner what a great script. Got me 99 mining and smithing. A script like this would be awesome. You would need to run away from conflicts even in correct world.

I'd like some more info on that. What would KMiner do if you got attacked? What would it do if you died?

Was that for Nexus?
Thee crowd back then was so large you rarely ever died, if you did, it went back.
LRC is one of the few scripts which actually releasing to public would be a GOOD THING so bigger crowd=never get attacked

I used KMiner to get me 99 mining on like 5 different accounts, it was pretty amazing, zero bans.

If you got attacked, it would run to the bank area, wait a few seconds, and then run back. If you died, it would re-equip your pickaxe (but not the armor/other items you were wearing), walk back to the mine, and resume mining. Pretty much the only thing that stopped the script was Runescape being updated.

K miner was the shit, the only thing missing was summoning support.

Well its was a beauty of a bot. Insane. If it was attacked it would run away (you don't get attacked a lot in world 88.) I never died so IDK. They have a site kminer.org

Yes it was for NeXus.

I'd use the LRC bot

A good idea to avoid getting attacked and get good mining and smithing xp is to camp at the north west gold rock (completely safe, the golems can't attack you there) with nature runes, pick, and fire staff equipped. Mine gold ores, superheat ores, drop bars, repeat. Even faster xp could be gained by using mining urns and lava titans (+8 mining boost [invisible]), but that would require banking.

Also, wear gold smithing gauntlets, and world hop when the rock dies.

It can be there is no gold ore avaible but its pritty rare also running between the 3 areas is a good idea to check where the gold is.

SRL member applications are about code quality, I don't know anybody that has ever tried to run an application script past a compile test. If you didn't tell them it was semi afking they wouldn't know… ;)

I'll be starting on this project as soon as i get 99 rc and 99 hunt/agil on my main, so i'll probs be starting on the 2/3 February :)

I think i'll make one, but with only one mine support and probably powerdropping as walking and dying would stop the script :c

id would like to see once for fishing as im going to start learning how to script and start college for computer classes in feb so im hoping i can learn alot
