waterfeinds and cockroaches are really your best bet, unless you wanna do rock lobsters.

Shadow Warriors in Legends guild OR Bursting RockLobsters.

Why can't you do waterfiends? To be honest, the time spent anywhere else will be multiple times larger than the time spent getting the reqs to waterfiends + getting the same number of charms. Waterfiends and rock lobs are the top two by a significant amount…

greater demons for sure they have better drop rate than cockroaches.

Rock lobs with Ice barrage. (Best in game)
Dust Devils (Pretty fast + Chance at chain)
Roaches (Meh about 20/hour)
Nex (For blue charms, I got over 2k from her (In 2-3 weeks))

Abby demons drop pretty frequently. Also since there aren't reflection bots the slayer tower is almost always empty.(Could set up a easy fighting script that you can baby sit)

There's a really good list over drop rates for Crimson Charms http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Crimson_charm

Of course monsters with low combat level that have nice drop rates are good. Since we're not sure what your account is capable of (like no Waterfiends), you should decide for yourself.

I found Frost Dragons dropped Crimsons frequently. (I have not actually looked up the drop rate tho)

Cannoning wallaskis(sp?). They're in the dagganoth caves near rock lobs, but they drop a good amount of blues.

To get crimson charms, the best is bursting rock lobsters. But I must tell you, by my experience I was there for like half an hour ad I gave up . Such boringness, and sometimes when you don't get charms, you get pissed ( I do).
I would kill waterfiends, since they drop effigies, or I would get charms with the slayer skill . That's what I'll do when I go or 99 summoning and slayer. PLUS you can use the effigies you get while training in a skill you hate to train !
Personal opinion.

Black demons are always a choice.

If you can use yak, canon black demons in traverley while banking the ashes and alching any rune items. Slight profit and good crims p/h.

else, just get a maul or verac's flail and go to waterfiends.

There are monsters that drop more than others, but killing it might be harder for others. I prefer frosts because they drop blue and crimson frequently. The only problem is that you need 85+ dungeoneering to get to them. I didn't mind killing cockroach soldiers because they are easy to kill.

I used to use X-Fighter at the Dust Devils in the Chaos Tunnels for most of my charms. They're pretty easy to kill, but you'll need to be wearing a slayer helm.

TDS are best in game for charms in my opinion, drop 3 at a time and blue and red are common, requirements for them are a bit high but they are worth it and 4-8 M/hr. Haha, I made 18M from them one on first kill ^.^~

Other than that, go Abby Demons. Do beware, Abby Demons are suprisingly strong and they still own my 138 fairly often.

^ Concept and umm, you can't really see myself getting owned by them because of the bunyip but without it, my inv of monks would last me 10-20 minutes.

When there are no abysses on screen -> Your script keeps hovering over the money pouch -> botlike. Other than that, very nice! :) (IDK, maybe your pouch was open just to show us how rich you are…). Just mentioning! :)
On topic - Rock lobs!!!

I know there are bugs in NPC detection and tbh idk how it finds an Abby demon on the money pouch if it is searching for red and black hehe. It is fine, that is version 0.2 so there still plenty of time to upgrade.

As for the money pouch, tbh I forgot to close it, and then I couldn't bother recording the thing all over again. I was trying to dress down for that video, wearing fire instead of max, just trying to keep low profile. Guess the money pouch didn't help much ^.^~ lol

Current version got me 23 to 51 Magic. and 4-5 Melee levels around 45 so it is doing a bit better. That was on my pure and at Hill Giants if you wonder. Passed out last night while I was testing, it has no Antirandoms, woke up and it was stuck in Molly lol, oh well.

Your best bet would probably to burst (or barrage) rock lobs underneath Edgeville. Or range black drags behind the chicken shrine (Recipe for Disaster quest).
