SRL Archive - OSR Help

Does anyone have any idea why when I use the 'Flag' function I get the following error.

Error: Exception: The bitmap[0] does not exist

I've even tried putting a Wait instruction before the Flag one, to make sure that the Flag is indeed present.

Any ideas ?

Yes, I am running Simba version 9.80 and there are no reported updates for SRL, SPS or MSI.

I did get it to work by copying the bmpFlag bitmap from flag.scar and pasting it into my script (such as it is) :-)

Could it be that for some reason this is not being loaded ?

Also, as I am toying around with a smith & bank script - I've been trying the OpenBank functions. These are also not working for me.

And yet I can run scripts from the public scripts section - specifically YoHoJo's PMS and Shuttleu's Vine Vanquisher.

Try updating to SRL5. There are a lot of bugs fixed in it.

@Coh3n: Hi! I haven't tried this yet. However I will move to SRL-5 and retest. In retrospect this is perhaps an obvious potential solution - but to me, nothing is obvious as I have too little time with Simba, SRL, SPS and scripting. All in good time …

I got the same error but it was Bitmap[16] and the program crashed with something about data corruption so I restarted it and it seemed to work fine.
