Multiple Accounts

So I have noticed that people are running army's 24/7, more than one account at a time. I was wondering how you can do this? Are your computers just that much better than mine lol? I only have a laptop, but still.

My computer:
64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate
Processor: Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 900 @ 2.20GHz 2.19GHz

Also, I have a request. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me 2 accounts that do not have the trade limit on them. Any stats, it doesn't matter. I'd rather not have to make every one of my future army a member for a month.

crashsmart with an army can pull this off easy. Only problem is how many at the same time without lagging to death
but your build surely can use some upgrade. I have an E8400 and i can barely hold 3 bots without suffering noticeable lag and decrease in XP/H

Just using one SMART makes me lag. I can do two, with a slight decrease in performance. I can't set up CRASHSMART because no one would answer my question on the thread for it. -.- Maybe you could answer a question or two if you are knowledgeable? :)

Also, I'm not the most hardware-smart guy with computers. Software is more my thing. I've never had a computer that I could afford to possibly break by looking through its guts, so I never learned. >.> So I don't know how to upgrade my computer.

Mainly meed a strong CPU to run a lot.
No crashsmart, java 6.30 (java 7 makes smart lag like crazy).

6 Core 3.85Ghz processor, 8GB RAM.
I can ran 8 and it uses 60-75% of processor and 4GB of ram.
Moving the fps slider on the right if smart helps lower CPU usage.

You can run 8 bots or 8 SMARTS? Just to clarify. Also, would I be able to buy upgrade parts and take them to a local computer shop for them to upgrade? Or would I have to buy a better computer?

bots? Smarts? difference?
8 Simbas with SMARTs.

If you BOUGHT the computer, only thing you can really mostly upgrade is RAM, maybe CPU but not sure.
Gotta buy a new one, I suggest building one though!

When I say "bot" I think of a character. An example being four bots on one SMART. Get it?

I wouldn't know how to build a computer. :/ How much did it cost to build yours?

Lots of threads about it on srl.
If you give us a price range everyone can post best potential build for that range.
Mine was ~$900
You can make a pretty decent one anywhere from like $600-1200+ all depends on what you buy for it. More you spend, better it is, the more future proof it is, the less you will need to/need to spend on upgrades for it in the future.

Ehh. I'd only really want to spend 300-400 on it. I would really only want to run a max of 3 SMART's at a time. Probably less if I can't get some accounts without a trade limit.

That's a bit low to build/buy a new one.
Any idea how many cores your processor has?
Also if you lower the slider on the side of smart it takes a lot less cpu and you can run more.

Cherry pick your build, you can get a $900+ build for your budget. It will take about a month or a little less though.

How would I check for the cores? And thanks! I didn't even notice the slider. What does it actually do?

And what does cherry picking mean? lol

Slider lowers the FPS (Frames per second).
Keep it as low as you can but still high enough for script to run properly. Normally 1 inch or 1.5 inch from bottom is low and good :D!

Thanks! Hopefully this helps.

I think a build from $600-800 would be sufficient for his requirements. Again the price tag all depends whether you want to invest in a decent GPU, which is however not necessary for botting.

Cherry picking is when you look for all the parts you need, at bargains. You pick the best you see, like cherries.

Could I buy one without the GPU for cheap, then upgrade later?

Ah I see. Well I wouldn't know what to look for. Like I said, I am not a hardware guy.

Yeah you can get a mobo with built in crappy gfx, and buy a real good gfx card later.
And before you ask, no you don't need good gfx at all to run runescsape, mobo ones will be fine!

I don't really understand if you run 8 crashsmarts on one computer and they all restart right then all accounts will log into the same world right?

You disable the bot, manually hop worlds and then enable it again.. pretty common knowledge.

Yeah reading is also pretty common knowledge right?
I ment crashsmarts wich crash smart and open a new one then login.

Oh, thought you meant just 8 bots anyhow if you're using MSI it will find yourself a world thats not already being used.

Yeah but I don't usually use msi scripts although in future I might but well I don't need crashsmart I guess since I manage to get a random event every 6 hours it's not worth it for me thanks when most randoms get fixed I be sure to use it.

Not sure about all scripts, but with MSI at least if it's same world, it changes to a different one for you.
