Hi, I'm coming from RSBuddy scripting so go easy on me please. I'll give whatever it is my best effort but the more simplistic, the better. Of course, I'll add features to it over time.

I had a few scripts on RSBuddy, nothing amazing though

So I was thinking about reviving a deprecated script as my first scripting attempt. Just want to make sure that's allowed?

Sure I think you can do that. But reflection is gone (for now), so be aware that many things that were easy to do back then now requires some efforts now

Sweet, then I'm going to challenge myself and bring back an old color script.

I think you will learn more when u completly rewrite it :p

If it's a simple task I like the idea of rewriting it since it gives you the challenge of beating the script you're rewriting :D
