Hello all,

As I got my 99 in herblore, I decided to publish my script here.

This script cleans herbs, makes unfs and finally potions. This script is intended to be used only with Scroll of cleansing, which makes this very profitable and thus gives you free exp as well.

At this moment, there's three different combinations from which you can choose. First is to clean avantoes which will be made to super energy pots. Second is to clean ranarrs which becomes to prayer pots and finally, you can choose to clean dwarf weeds from which you'll get ranging pots.

Setup is simple. Initially, it's this:

CFG_GRIMY_HERB    = SULIB_ITEM__GRIMY_AVANTOE;
CFG_CLEAN_HERB    = SULIB_ITEM__CLEAN_AVANTOE;
CFG_UNF_POTION    = SULIB_ITEM__AVANTOE_POTION_UNF;
CFG_POTION        = SULIB_ITEM__SUPER_ENERGY_POTION_3;
CFG_TERTIARY_ITEM = SULIB_ITEM__MORT_MYRE_FUNGI;

Pretty self-explanatory.

Go standing next to soul-wars bank-chest. Have your ingredients if the first bank-tab and hit go. With avantoes + mort myre fungi, you make around 1m/h along with 40k exp/h.

Just remember, you need to have scroll of cleansing. Unzip the attachment to your scripts+folder. If you got any additional questions, shoot.

I thought Herb was supposed to be a long arduous expensive skill unless you cleaned herbs, guess I was wrong.

Yup. If you modify the script a bit to just make unf-pots, you can do easily almost 2m/h.

This is the reason why I decided to release my script here in SRL-member's section.

I just got 96 herb, i guess i should try and get my money back with this script. Thanks! :D

This is confusing. Cant get it to run because i Simba cant find the files >,> Trying to rearrange but things are always missing out. Meh ill just use my herb cleaner, but it looks nice lol.

That's because you have multiple Simba-installations. You unzipped the archive to Simba scripts-folder, which was not the active installation.

It's an either/or most of the time.

Cleaning herbs is xp + profit. (Some herbs are a loss, others profit)
Unf's are pure profit or loss depending on unfinished potions (no exp is gained).
Final potions are xp and all loss (I've never seen a finished potion make a profit).

Although I did my 99 with regular attack potions; very cheap and not too slow.

Side Note: How many herbs/hr are you cleaning? Using just InvMouse, I hit ~5.5k/hr using mine. I thought about writing it from scratch or copying and editing, so that I can take out some of the unnecessary checks it does.

10k Mort Myre Fungus = 1095gp each * 10k = 10.95M
10k Vial of Water = 48gp each * 10k = 480k gp
Total: 54.77M gp

Result
10k Super Energy (3) = 2430gp each * 10k = 24.3M
1,111 leftover Clean Avantoe = 4334 * 1,111 = 4.8M
Total: 29.1M

You still lose 25.67M gp for 10k Super Energy potions and still pay 21.85gp per xp.

10k unfs you sell = 43.4M.
Around 1k mort myre fungus = 1.09M (you save around 1/10 of them with scroll of cleansing)
1.11k super energy pots (3) = 2.7M

so…

You invested 43.34M + 533K + 1.09M = 44.96M
After the process, you got 2.7M + 43.4M = 46.1M

46.1M - 44,96 = 1.14M profit, when making finished super energy potions along with 1.11k * 117.5xp = 130542,5xp. If you buy grimy avantoes, you can add 100kexp there, which in total makes 230542,5exp.

So, all in all, if you have in your inventory 11.11k vial of water, 10k grimy avantoes and 1k mort myre fungus, you'll get:

~230542.5 exp
~1.14M cash

Then, the time it takes is 2 hours to clean the herbs, and 5 hours to mix the unfinished potions (162k gp/hr).

Cleaning herbs and unfinished pots are a solid method however you look at it, I'm just debating the profitability in some aspects. You'll be paying for the herblore xp if you don't rely on cleaning herbs, however (because instead of making those energy pots, you could just sell them for profit).

So it's almost like combining a money maker and a money sink to even each other out.

A 1 in 10 (10%) chance that when adding an ingredient to a vial of water or coconut milk, it will not be used up, leaving the player with an extra ingredient.

That does imply that adding an herb to a vial of water can save the herb, since when your actually making a potion, aren't you just adding an ingredient to a vial again?

Ya, the wikia defintion is poor, you do save on secondary ingredients also, just tested it.
