Powerbot and reflection

As you all know powerbot has not given up with reflection. They aim at bringing reflection back. After Oct 25 they posted a release date for the new bot. The release date was pushed back 3 times and is now Jan 16th. Do you guys think they will be able to bring it back. Honestly I think they wont be able to do it. They will push the date back again.

Nope. Never. Hooks are so hard to consolidate now it's just silly.

I think it will be pushed back again but I don't think they will give up after that, eventually one of the sides has to give up on updating and both sides make good cash of of their sites it's debatable.

Only kindof, it is more than possible for a reflection bot to be made again. It will be VERY difficult to keep said bot updated to the newest hooks at how often RS updates. So possible? Yes, I am 100% confident it has already been done. (Not a public release mind you) Practical, no.

We have 3+ threads about topics like this already, please try and find one of those and post on it if you can!

It's just funny to see that if they had put their effort in a OGL bot it could have been done already and they could have been the best know rs bot site atm lol…

Everything is possible, we all believe on that, don't you ?
I believe it is possible to bring reflection back, big I think there's no need ! Color scripts are almost the same thing that reflection bots/ scripts. They can have the same speed on a certain skill ( same rate XP/ hour ), so I don't think we need reflection. Everyone wants reflection back, but is it just because to save time while making the scripts? Color script might take a bit longer, but the result is the same one ( slightly different but not that much ).
Soo, is it possible? Everything is!
But I think we don't need it :)

Its quite obvious that bots similar to rsbot will be back shortly. Everyone who is like "herrrr derrrrr they broke all hooks and nothing works now" hasn't been with the cheating community long enough. When aryan went down, we had all those herrr'derrr's. When arga went down we had all those herrrr'derrr's. Now that rsbot/rsbuddy is gone we have a ton of herrr'derrr's again.

All it takes is time, the example of the update that killed aryan is very similar to this update, but sure enough arga was released shortly after.

Offtopic: Does anyone know what happened to the arga community or Taios, PPLSUQBALZ , or any of the other dev's that were around then?

I haven't heard of anything of anyone of them in years. There aren't very many oldfag coders left these days.
Edit: Seeing your username bring back memories though, I can't remember from which forums, howerver… Rs-Resources?

What they fail to release is Jagex has more up their sleeves, Jacomb stated they could do what they did in Oct 25th about 3 more times before having to make more >.<.

fail to realise?

Regardless this isn't the first time they have done this. From what I have learned from talking to older dev's there is very little difference from the update that killed aryan to clusterfutter. Meaning that all the hooks and methods of information gathering were broken and it would require an entire new bot (more or less) to have a working product.

Even if powerbot doesn't come back, there are other bots in the works already, and there have been a few rumours about people purchasing bots for the already established communities from private projects.

Assuming that they do a similar update again, it will mean less work to build another bot having done it before.

There may even be a few bots that use edge detection or graphical inception to even outperform reflection based botting.

Injection has been around for a long time, and broken many many many times, so I don't see that method of botting going away anytime soon either.

Well if you go to their website the ETA is now removed which was Jan 16. Now it says redacted which means hidden. SO im pretty sure its a way to coverup some more time and lie to their customers.

Powerbot is just sick, its like RSBuddy when they were counting to final countdown and instead pushing dates they said one of the developers [Jacmob] went to work with Jagex. This will happen to powerbot too but people will give up if they push the date further more since they will not trust them.

I don't know how reflection works, I'm a noob, but i read that it used IDs or some kind of numbers and that runescape constantly changes these now just about every time you login or even more often than that and how would they be able to make it work if the numbers change all day every day.

If there is one thing you know about MMOs in general, it is that you can not kill botters. Reflection might die, but something else will be born. All that is needed is time.

Take this into consideration: All the effects of clusterflutterer can be completely reversed with bytecode modification. It'll be like it never happened.

Its effects cannot be completely reversed to pre-cluster flutterer. What happens when you have >two Object[] as parameters for a method? Lets say that the method was originally non-static. The cluster deflutterer would have to guess whether the method was originally from the class that became Object[] #1 or Object[] #2. In essence, the original location of the method cannot always be determined. If the method was originally static, then the deflutterer shouldn't make it non-static, but theres no practical way for it to know that.
