Free .com Domain

I know a decent bit about web design and I plan on creating my own email. All I will need is access to is CNAME and A records and then after that I will no longer need a domain. Essentially, is there any websites which will let me use a free .com domain for a few days or weeks free that does not require a credit card?

I currently have emails like blaise@blaisepbot.co.cc since co.cc is free, so setting up will not be a problem for me, I just need a temporary .com domain.

Thanks in Advance,

Just throwing this out there, but you can buy a .com domain for around £6 or 7? Why not just register a domain for yourself?

I would love to be able to purchase a domain but I do not have a credit card or PayPal account which I could use. I probably won't even use the domain itself, because I have a ton of other [free] websites.

Er, you need to do more than that to create your own email..and the domain is going to have to stay active for you to use it..

I've set up email before through Google Apps… Even after the domain I was using was no longer active.

Don't think it's possible and I'm skeptical about your intentions :S

Is there a reason you need your own .com domain email instead of just using yahoo, gmail and all those other free alternatives.
