Just having a look at your code, you don't have many failsafes?

- I will test this out for ya and give ya a proggy. Hopefully itll show me where mine kept producing errors

Yes of course. You just need to set the colour yourself. If you're not a leecher; I'm sure you'll be able to manage this. :p

If you'd work on your standards and start using ACA for CTS2 modifiers in your object finding functions, I believe this script would be perfect for a members application.

This is correct. While you're in building mode, you get no randoms. Also, I do believe getting randoms in your house not in building mode is a new thing from Jagex. I remember reading that people would have house "alch parties" and alch for hours on end without getting randoms.

While i was doing doing House tabs i was doing it on normal mode and i did get randoms so idk about building mode

2 weeks ago, I got 99 construction, no randoms in building mode so I can confirm that. But as soon as I left the house after a 400k xp gain (EVERY TIME), I instantly got a random.

Yup. No randoms is the key. And I'm almost positive that you can create Teleport Tabs in building mode.

When I was making my own tele-tabber I read that you can't make tabs in building mode, although I never tried.

You really think it's gonna crash em that bad? I don't have the construction lvl to use this but I just had to buy some varrock tellys and had to go 15% over mid price to get them to buy instantly.

Yes, it takes time, but they will drop, pretty soon though.

I can see why SRL Members are a bit miffed, but I like it :) Cheaper for me :D

In my members application people said I used too much ACA. That's why I switched to TPA in this script.

You can't use the Lectern in building mode.

I doubt they will crash, the number of botters here at Simba aren't that much as you would think.

Planning to add options for other tablets as well - what ones should I add? Any recommendations? I have no idea which ones are profitable.

This looks great, I like that people are releasing quality scripts to the public, with what was available a while ago this community looked like a joke.

Really cool script, I just started using it a bit ago, im having some problems with it tho.The old version was working good for me, the new version v012, i can't get it to properly run, i followed your instructions on the first post.It doesn't click the demon and just types 24 in the chat, then just says waiting for the butler to exchange notes for items.Also house tele tabs would be awesome, they give the highest profit, about 600k per hour at current prices

Make sure you start in BUILDING MODE or you will be STUCK IN A RANDOM!

I have been here since 07, so I remember back when everyone wasn't worried about another 50 people using a script. Everyone was more focused on building a larger community. I honestly don't care to have member status here, as I have enough scripting knowledge to make the scripts work well with minor edits, and have actually modified some very old scripts to work. Not everyone is good enough to do that though, and the need for that to be done for pretty much anything to be ran is very discouraging to new members that might show interest if it looks like there is a chance of having something solid, right now it looks as if simba fails in terms of stability, from anyone outside of the scripting scene.

I will do when I get one, little bug I've noticed it types "24" into the chatbox alot, and usualy after the 30 minute mark it starts missclicking on the 'Make Varrock tab' and just sits there examining walls. - This has only happend twice tho.

It only types 24 the first time you start the script.

As for the mis-clicking I have never experienced that…Let me start testing it again.

Yeah im getting problems with misclicks also, usually after it makes 2 inventorys full of tabs it will click on the clay then misses clicking on the demon. Then it just gets stuck waiting for the butler to get back when he never left, may need some kinda failsafe for that, like looking for the text in the chatbox that says the servant is going to the bank, and if it doesnt see it reclick the clay and demon.If you need anymore info let me know.

It's coded to type "24" the first time because you need to specify the amount the first time, after that there will be an option preset for "24" for you to click in the chat dialog with demon butler.

3 "24"s is impossible unless you've started/stopped the script three times.

I know it's impossible because it is not in the main loop (repeat and until).

I knew it was impossible to happen because of the way the structure was written.

Just about to finish up on a new release to fix the mis-clicking of the butler :) Will be released momentarily, make sure you download it when it is up.

That failsafe you added in for the butler helped me alot, im at 120 tabs made so far now, couldn't get past 48 before. Gonna try to get you a nice 6+ hour prog. Thank you very much for your work on this

Edit: Just got stuck when the butler asked to be paid, on the screen where he asks you for the coins

Okay, I know why that is happening.

I assume you're on a pretty slow computer/connection?

Should be fixed in the new download btw.

If not; upload a screenshot at which stage it is getting stuck and I will nail it.

I was running it on my core 2 duo but just grabbed the lastest version and switched over to my i7 laptop, and im on comcast high speed.Here is a screenshot where it just got stuck, trying use the butler to get clay.Sorry for being a pain lol, not sure whats up,ive made sure everything in simba is updated and triple checked all my settings and game settings.
The failsafe is kicking in and it clicks the clay but keeps missing the butler clicking off to the left of him.

The problem is your RS Character, it's the same colour as the Butler. See the green box? That's why. The mouse will click anywhere in that green box.

Change your clothes to something completely different (blue would be best).

Oh wow haha, i feel like such a fool, i just went and bought a set of bright blue armor and it's working great now, paying the butler just fine and having no probs with the butler or clay.Time for some sleep now, hopefully ill have a nice prog to post in the morning.

Falador tabs and other tabs didnt work but I believe you fixed it in v1.1 now so it's ok :D.

So far only three people have, and nearly 3 days total time committed.

All I can say is wow. This script really show's me what good scripting can produce. Love the visual proggy. I'll have a proggy for you tonight!

Working quite well, but I do sometimes find my character just sitting there (says waiting for the butler in the output). Perhaps add a failsafe to check if the servant is there and if not restart the getclay funstion?

This shouldn't happen in Version V1.1

ive made over 7000 varrock telly tabs since yesterday afternoon, running nonstop.. well if it fails, i put it right back on. i try to check it as much as i can. i catch it clicking the lectur and clicking make all tabs. but its not really making tabs because its not unoting the clay. It works fine after i restart it. Also ive found my character in varrock and around my house. Also its gotten stuck when it has to pay the demon. Hopefully this update will be good. i wanna post proggies. but im usualy restarting script so much i forget

I've made over 10,000 tabs with this :)

It's never stuffed up on me though, the problems you described I have not experienced once.

If this happens again, post a screenshot of the bot and the log please.

And if you haven't get got V1.1. Get it. It is very stable.

Okay, I know exactly what your problem is.

See the green box? That's where the mouse will click. Anywhere in there.

Your house decoration / floor colour is the same as the lectern; to fix this, change your house to the most basic one - the wood one.

It should be the same as my screenshots on the first page.

Also, I've only tested the script with the Oak Lectern. If the green box still doesn't track down your lectern properly then switch to an Oak Lectern.

Just saw some of the adjustments you've recommended. So this might just be pointless input, but it seems like it gets stuck thinking it sent the butler off to un-note the clay when it hasn't. Since the butler should disappear if the action is properly executed, couldn't you implement a failsafe that searches for whether or not he is on screen? Just doing my best to be of some help. Probably way above my head.

Either way it is an issue that is very easy and reliable to correct if babysitting at all.

Just saw some of the adjustments you've recommended. So this might just be pointless input, but it seems like it gets stuck thinking it sent the butler off to un-note the clay when it hasn't. Since the butler should disappear if the action is properly executed, couldn't you implement a failsafe that searches for whether or not he is on screen? Just doing my best to be of some help. Probably way above my head.

Either way it is an issue that is very easy and reliable to correct if babysitting at all.

I will work on adding a failsafe for that, although its not quite as easy as you would think.

How is the bot working for you? Good? I see quite a few commits from you on SRL Stats. Looks like it's good?

EDIT: Actually, just remembered. There is a failsafe for that. It will click again if it mis-clicks for whatever reason.

As for the butler bug, I'm currently undergoing heavy testing with my own accounts right now. If any bugs occur I'll do my best to fix them.

On the other note… Soft clay is rising like crazy right now! Can't even buy then at like 460gp each. Oh well, this wasn't a surprise… :p

No. This is not the problem.

If you look at the green box around the lectern, it only lays on the lectern; so I'm sure this is not the problem.

I have added a fail safe which will repeat using the process if butler doesn't leave.

I will change the colour of the clay-finding today. Earth runes have the same brown colour as the clay, that's why.

Version 1.3 works great for me! Its been running smooth for 1 and a half hours and im gonna see if i can get a 10 hour long proggy!

Soft clay is now also near impossible to buy.

Try not to sell the tele tabs at below med price to stop the crashing! and also try not to buy the soft clays at over 5% higher to keep the profit up

The script makes most tablets in your house using a lectern, soft clay and the runes that are required for the tablet you are making. Making tablets is an excellent source of income, give it a try.

The update makes sure that all the bugs in the first version are gone and is stable and can run flawlessly for hours on end. The first time something comes out its always going to have bugs. You just have to be patient.

To everyone comparing the graphs… Prices always do this, there definitely hasnt been that big of an influx from just a script of two for srl going public. If you look at all other items they have spiked (or are still spiking) and then drop down to their orrigional price then shoot back up again. Consider the fact of all the legit players that probably saw that price change and jumped on top of making them. Compare those graphs to the supplies cost of steel bars and the steel bars price, they will follow the same trend with some accuracy. If you can study the price changes it will also allow you to almost double your profit if you can afford a large enough amount of supplies that you can wait to sell at a higher price.

because im owning making like 660 Tabs a hour using FALADOR Tabs,

CRASHSMART won't work with this because when you log out, you're outside your house next to the portal and the bot will not be able to start by itself again from there.

I have coded the bot so that once it gets kicked to the lobby or the login screen, it will terminate itself.

Okay, I'll just try again tonight, thank you anyway :D Hope that it will run pretty well overnight. Are you thinking about adding that support for entering the house again and the like?

That would be very hard or impossible because everyone's house is different. Unless I do it, and every script user needs to change their house to the same room layout, it might work.

Everytime i try to run 2.0 it starts then stops automatically, weird. Well 1.4 works with no bugs. Runs straight for 5 1/2 hours every time i start it. Thanks for making me rich again

Yeah. With V2 I have disabled login. So once it sees the lobby or the login screen it will terminate the script itself.

Script doesnt work for me. I have been running other scripts without problems, other Tab makers in fact. I have SRL SPS and MSI and the Extensions fully updated and idem dito for Simba.

I double click on you downloaded file. I fill in my Username at "Name" and my password at "Pass". I click the Run button (green triangle). I wait till Smart pops up (take like 6-10 seconds). I click on the Red Squire (If I wait and dont click on the red squire the script will stop itself and comment "Succesfully Executed". I disable smart. I login. I move my Demon Butler to the spot where the Lectern is. I have made my lectern at the 100% exact spot where the one on the picures is. I have my home in the Basic Wood decoration (5000 gold).

It doesnt do anything at all. What am I doing wrong.

PS: BOTH the SRL5 and the other one dont work for me.

Great script but too bad noobs are really crashing prices with this.. buy price is like 300GP below the GE market price for Lumby tabs, last time I looked at Fally tabs the same was happening to them.

Although the ration between dark grey and grey is different for each room in the mini map? Yes, I know clay is very hard to buy. I've been having the same problem on my accounts.

Unfortunately there's not much I can do about that :( That's the thing with public scripts, you never know if someone's running a huge bot farm with 50 accounts…

No, you don't need to fill in the DeclarePlayers part at all.

Start the script, once RS has been fully loaded and SMART is up, stop the script.

Log in yourself.

Get the butler to follow you, while standing next to your lectern.

Start the script again.

No one else has had this problem before; you're the only one.

I get this when i run this script. The only thing i can think of is the lectern. Im using the lowest lvl one to make varrock tabs. Thats the only reason i can think of why this is happening to me. Just collects clay from demon then demon comes back with that message and just stops.

Yes your lectern is the problem.

Please use the Eagle lectern for best results.

This is not a problem with the script, it is merely due to lag..

in the make tab function you have:

Wait(RandomRange(300,800));
ChooseOption('ll');

just increase the number in the RandomRange to somthing like:

Wait(RandomRange(1500,2000));
ChooseOption('ll');

This is not a proper fix but it basically waits before trying o click make all, and should wait long enough for lag to stop, so completely depends on your lag

go to C:/Simba/Fonts
rename "SmallChars" to "SmallChars1"
copy "UpCharsEx" and paste it in the same folder to make a copy
then rename "Copy of UpCharsEx" to "SmallChars"

First of all make sure you have the latest version of this script. It is the SRL5 version.

To update to SRL 5 you go SRL > Check for Updates and it should work.

I had this problem a few times, I thinks its because there might be a slight lag from your computer? Probably un-noticable but very slight lag, you could try the following:

Im getting the same problem as everyone else, I get to the make tablet screen wanting to make varrock tabs and it doesn't try to click it at all… (ps I have filled in to make varrock tabs in the script)

I have two accounts running this. One account is running flawlessly for 6 hours each botting session before a break but on another account it has difficulty even making one tablet. I think it depends on what you have in your house, the one that is running flawlessly is the one that has limited stuff in the P.O.H

Yes, you need to set brightness to max.

Divina is right i had mine working perfect was running it when the rs update was like 1minute till update tried it straight after as soon as it came back up . it would get to the tab and click it but not click make all

Ps nevermind there is now a SRL update through simba that fixed it there wasnt as of last night :P cheers

Make sure you have the latest SRL update.

This should be working 100% at the moment. Also make sure your graphics settings are correct (safe mode, max brightness).

I had to update SRL :duh:

You should change you house style to the first style(which is wood). You can do this at a Estate agent. This should fix your problem. You might have to rotate the room once clockwise to, not sure about that ^^

Change your house style to the "Basic Wood" style. It will work fine then.

That tree is your problem; either try to remove it or adjust your camera angle so that it is not visible on the screen. :)

Thanks that worked for me. It could still be faster but it is better than it was =).

Is there any way to stop the miss clicking? because sometimes it does it quite a bit which slows down the rate at which it makes the tabs by a considerable amount.

Well this has never happened to me before. If you can provide a screenshot of it then that would help a lot.

And make sure your house is set up correctly, with no interfering colours visible on the screen. :)

Does this happen to you all the time? Try re running the script.

Also, what lectern are you using? So far it only works on the Eagle lectern.

Please see if there is a green box around the lectern; if not, then the lectern detection for you doesn't work for some reason.

I've had this before to but it was because of a laggy Runescape world.
Try to use a world with a low ping, this might solve your problem =)

You need 47 construction for the lectern anyway, getting three more levels won't cost you a lot. ~1M max. You can make that back in 2 hours with this script.

If you want to, feel free to change the colours yourself so that the regular butler works :)

yes , the profit is lowering and this does not sound good. The advantage of this script is that it can run 6 hours.. without getting stuck in random.

You need level 47 for the lecturn, which was already explained in one of the first pages. The demon only requires level 50. So you might as well just get it to 50. But yeah you could use the butler if you simply changed the colors it found the demon with to the butler's colors.

If your simply just trying to run this bot? All you have to do is just open it and run it like you would with the normal simba bot. It also has the directions on the first page.

Hi, This is a great script, tough i had to put some time in it xD
It always wanted to un-cert clay 2times which made me lose alot of clay.
I just increased the 2nd get clay waittime to 14-15 secs and also in that pragraph i made the ">4" into ">5" Now it works flaweless :D

That's what multis are for. Just use one of those. Also you don't need to enter personal info on this script since you have to manually set up yourself at the lecturn anyways. This should be the perfect script for you.

you dont need to enter your username since you'll be logging in yourself

I had originally had problems running this as I didn't have the inventory set up exactly as shown, as I was using a fire staff and Air Runes for the Varrock Tabs instead of vice versa and got a repeating "our inventory is full" message which stopped after I switched to the shown setup. I then had problems using a regular butler instead of a demon butler until I changed the value it originally types in from 24 to 20 (the dialogue stating the regular butler only has 20 spaces halted the script as it was waiting for the butler to return yet he won't leave until you finish that dialogue). Afterwards it worked relatively well and I made a 75k profit off of 150 tabs despite paying 547 per soft clay. Typing this from a phone so please excuse any typos and the lack of a progress report, I'll try to fix that tomorrow.

Are you using the Demon butler? The script works flawless for me. Sometimes when i start the script it doesn't work the first time. I just close the tab in Simba and open the script again untill it works. Most likely takes less than 3 times trying =)

Script failing hard. :S

This is an awesome script. I have it running for 6 hours without any trouble. It stops after 6 hours because you need the refresh Runescape after that long of playing =)

Great script, I can get it to run until the game kicks me out.

One thing though, sometimes I play on a somewhat laggy connection–from me downloading–and the script tries to find the lectern when it's already open. It ends up in an infinite loop, because the lectern itself obviously can't be found if the lectern screen is open. It's a quick fix though with a lectern-interface check at the very beginning of the function.

What? If you can't even code those 2 lines then that's seriously it are 2 lines

which you can even search and then put // before them I even put up the lines where it could possibly be.

When you clicked on a object in runescape you used to get a red cross when that popped up the script would know that it clicked right and stop clicking but now that it is a different color it won't recognize the click and won't stop clicking becouse it can't find it so that's why the // are there in my fix it makes it so that it only clicks once and that's also why I don't take any responsebility if anything goes wrong.

If you would like to know anything else about scripting then you could ask in a different section scripting help I believe if you need help on scripting and if you just want to know what everything means read some guides use the search button to find those.

Unfourtunatly this bot needs an update due to the new update the jagex release. The bot needs to be able to right click the noted clay otherwhise it will only read the note. Anyone know how to do this since I dont have the time at the moment to start playing around with the script?

My god house tabs are selling for 1400-1500 normally it was 1100 seriously what a freaking leechers shouldve never posted a fix but since I am helpfull I did.

Yanhua maybe you should make this script srl members+ one day not working and house tabs rise 30-40%.

For whatever reason, I could not get the DrawBox paint to work properly.
I kept on getting the following error:

[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/misc/paintsmart.simba(560:12): Unknown identifier 'TPAFromEllipse' at line 559
Compiling failed.

It then took me to the "paintsmart" include.

I removed all aspects of the on-screen paint for a quick fix.
Do you have any idea what happened? It was working fine just the other day.

LMFAO I changed the colors back to the original, it works flawlessly. I guess the butler and the demon butler are VERY similar in color.

Got it working for 1 hour somehow! The bug in the tab selection screen is very scary..

I'm surprised anyone has this running, being that the left click for noted items has now changed to read said item rather than use. :facepalm:

Do you have both the script and SMART enabled? I know it sounds silly, but it can happen sometimes :D

I just open it normally, on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Just try not to minimize + open SMART too often, it makes the screen blink for about half a second.

What does the log say? Screenshot please?

I just made some more changes to V2.2, please download it again.

This version has no problems detecting the lectern now.

The paint (or at least I think it's called paint) still displays 2.2 as 2.1 btw.
Nothing major, but just wanted to let you know in case of future changes.

Right, it clicks the Demon Butler fine, it says it's found the lecturn then it click on a spot near it (up to 2 squares away) and keeps repeating this but never clicks on the lecturn. I am on Windows Vista, running in Min quality on RS if they make a difference.

I did some testing and messing around, and it seems that the WaitColor at line 352 (could be a bit off) seems to be the troublemaker. If I comment the WaitColor and the succeeding begin and end, the script seems to cause no more trouble.

My understanding, however, is that without the waitcolor, there would be a bug where the script will try to make tablets without checking if the selection screen is open. May I suggest you add a different, more secure way of checking for the selection screen, or perhaps a failsafe for when the "Make All" option does not appear when the script tries to select the tab without the selection screen opened?

Bug? Yeah now (at least V 2.2) (version 2.0 worked excellent) when i start with the soft clay and stuff it doesn't type 24, consequently it doesn't click the "get another 24 soft clay" button..and for some reason only goes for an hour..

Fix? well make it type 24 again i guess and stuff dunno but just do it the original way of NOT having the soft clay but the original inventory settings :)

The script always stops right around 25 mins and a new tab is brought up with this highlighted in orange "function FindNPCChatText(txt: string; action: fnct_ActionOptions): boolean;" No idea why.

Just one more requst: could you add a failsafe for the selection screen? so if it fails to select "make all tabs", it just simply Xs out of the screen and tries again?

Script is bugged.

I find that this bot runs, generally, for a good amount of time (3+ hours) but i have recently been having mine stop at random times with a message saying "the following DTMs were not freed". if anyone knows how to correct this please post in this forum to let me know since i can't be the only one with this problem. hey i fixed it…here is a temp until Yanhua rereleases it officially. I have it making varrock tabs, just change if you want diff tabs :D. It is a lil glitchy, the WaitColor, if someone finds a better color please post! :D

Yes price of tabs went really fast up ,when script was broken . But hell yeah they going down again.

The script seems to have always been broken for me. After about 200-400 tabs, it always ges stuck on the choose tab screen, and just stays there till runescape times me out.

Yanhua, look at how many leeches you have. The SRL community is supposed to be anti-leech. I know you are trying to make this script the best it can by releasing it to public. But please think about what your doing. Your script has 16k views..Tele tabs are heavily effected by this. And all of us who actually made are own scripts are feeling the price crunch while all these leechers use your script. Please remove it from public access and use it as an application to mems or something.

And for me , I use my own script which do not use make-all ,but one by one and it goes faster 1000tabs/hr+-

theres a bug I believe, when it tries to uncert the noted clay the message comes up with Enter amount and it does nothing, it then tries to un cert them again and again and again, please can you fix this, thanks.

l2 script and not leech. I fixed my personal script in literately 10 seconds…You just have to mod some lines in his script I just looked.

Could anyone help me change the "Detect Red Click" because the February 14th RS update changed the colour of the left click "x". "The "X" that appears when clicking to walk is now more yellow.", as quoted from RS Wiki. I pondered over the code for a while but I have never attempted to code in my life. I would assume the line:

I found that it was fixed after today's SRL Update. Just run a quick update session with all your extensions, and it should work fine. If it doesn't just add two slashes (//) in front of the lines you mentioned. Glad you're trying!

Red click works again, as they have changed it back to the weirdy yellow/orangy.. at least my script is working right now as i type.

People using this kind of script should really do as i do, trying to up the finished tab price, i never go lower than the starting price, and if i can i go up abit, just to raise the market again. I make 240k/h with this script and its really nice, but it takes some effort not to let the price drop too low.

This is a great script, i've been running it for a few hours now and it's been doing perfect so far.

And yeah like semtex said, sell above market price. Someone'll want to buy it. You could also buy one of whatever tab you're making at like double price and find out what the highest price they're selling for is. just sell for a couple gp less and the tabs should sell, while keeping the prices up.

press "ctrl" + "R" and type in "wait" then "find more" 3 times until you see waitcolor…then, scroll right and change the "5" to "20". There is another post about this if you look through the posts….if this doesnt work then break your computer!!

read what is happening in the script if its not doing anything else..are there any error reports or messages of any kind? If so the post them so you can be given advice on how to fix them. You can try restarting the script or try v2.1 rather than 2.2 since some people have said that 2.1 works better.

1) fox mask (red color)
2)d sqaure (red color)

all red tinted messed up the script could not find demon.

unfortunately my character also has red hair red boots red outfit…so i had to go an equip desert robes, boots and a Constitution hood. also making watchtower tablets

Seems like the interface had a minor color change
This fixed it for me.

press "ctrl" + "R" and type in "wait" then "find more" 3 times until you see waitcolor…then, scroll right and change the "5" to "20". There is another post about this if you look through the posts….if this doesnt work then break your computer!!

Generally I found the the script works best in the house with white stone walls since that is what i changed when my script had this problem. Other than that I have no idea how to fix this problem.

If you make your house style fremnick stone or something it's easier to detect the deamon. Or at least it was for me….

yeh i have the script set up correctly i believe , but it wont click on the teletab…. it clicks the lecturn and sits there

I have the same problem as shishio830. Just clicks the lectern but does not click on B2P even when i specified in the script. Hope you can fix this thanks!
