hey i just heard this on youtube, can you really do it? i saw vids of people ddosing while staking/pking and was wondering if it was true

99 % of those tools on youtube are keyloggers/trojans.

I wouldn´t recommend downloading them unless you want to use your account or even more valuable information like your credit card details.

If there really was such a tool there would be plenty of people abusing them at PvP, so you should be glad that you can actually enjoy legit pking without being afraid of getting Dos´d and getting killed.

Its rather easy to do, is it illegal = yes.
Is it worth going to jail for runescape? no.

no you cant do this because you don't know their external ip, but if you have a really powerful botnet you can take down one world so none can play it.

Np and technically you could do this but it would not be as easy as 1-2-3. if you made them join any server you run like irc you could get their ip then do it. but its illegal so do it at own risk.

The way I know its done is through swiftkit, grab their ip's through the irc's in there. Honestly so not worth the 50m you might gain.

It´s possible when you use an ip grabber on skype or sth else like that

SwiftIRC actually masks hostnames by default, so it's not possible to get it yourself from there. What you might of heard is a rumour going around (it's a known fact but a rumour all the same) that one, if not more, of the SwiftIRC admins sell people IP's. To the public the IP is only half correct, but admins are able to see the real one.

More popular methods of grabbing IP's is from things like Skype, Ventrilo and clan websites as most opposing clan members have accounts on other clan sites.

Most people on RS that do it use tools made by someone else, and they purchase (or lease) use of it. As said, none of the ones from YouTube will work, you can't just make a "ddoser" as the packets that flood the connection have to come from somewhere, that's what your paying for.

Yes it's illegal, but 99.99999999999999999% (if not more) of people that do it on RS wont face any charges.

In clan pking it's a very common occurrence and is basically considered part of the game.
