Just go to sourcess garden and you will see +50 bots in every world. Anyone has any clue what bot is doing this? Also some of the other bots are back as well.

Most likely an RiD paid bot. AFAIK they are the only other ones currently opperational.

That being said, they probably won't be around for a lot longer since they are in Jagex's crosshairs.

He's not advertising it, if you are stupid enough to download an unknown resource file from mediafire… then its your fault.

My guess is either a PRIVATE: reflection bot or OGL bot, also possibly created by the Chinese.

Last year some guy, (SilentWolf or something?) came to the forums and introduced how to hook OpenGL, the problem was that it worked only for the HD (when OpenGL is used by the client) and combining color was an issue. I'm pretty sure tile walking was near impossible if I remember, haha it's been a while maybe someone else can clear it up better.

OGL has advanced much further since then, AFAIK.

Yes there are a handful of people working on OGL bots.
Nome released yet, if ever.
And I THINK JAGEX can just stop them by maybe umm…. Removing the OGL option in the game settings? :p

I hope Jagex does actually stop them. <3

Doubt it. Hope not.
Private meaning the people who MADE it are keeping it private.
If you got the brains to make it, then you should have the brains to keep dat shiz safe. And I'm sure some auth system or something is in place anyways to keep it safe, although that could be cracked.

Regardless if there is or not, there is definitively not enough members in SRL to cause that much of a havoc of 50 bots/garden.

It is probably Powerbot testing their client out privately..

Because they're fanboys of a program, so when a bot comes out, they think it's that.

I just suspect it because it seems to be the only one in the works. It could very well be RsBuddy or Nexus or something brand new, who knows? We're all trying to come to some kind of conclusional answer.

I'm not mad or anything, just saying why would you only suggest one bot in particular, it could be any. ;]

Could be an OpenGL bot. Or maybe a DirectX 9 bot. Or perhaps a Software mode bot.

I've trapped quite a few dragon-killers in Castle Wars and reported them all. I don't know about the other bots, but whoever made the bot/script for those players needs to take a few classes in programming. They're terrible.

Well. Now I have 1.2b cashpile because I panic'd and sold 50k pray pots and 120k ranarr stuff and some other fun merches :S

Reflection is dead for the long term - so it can't be any of those communities.

Should be a private bot or some chinese gold farming company. Of course Jagex will take action sooner or later.

Reflection is in the process of being made, they haven't broken it they just made it harder to script. There are new communities rising, e.g. JBot.

I actually thought the green dragon bots were SIMBA private script users, so I changed my name to end in "ragon" and went up with green dragonhide hoping they would skull, but didn't manage to get them to skull anyway they seem pretty advanced to be a colourbot.

From what i heard, many ppl have cracked clustherFluss. But the problem for Nexus etc is that decrypt the reflection files is illegal so idk if any big sites will offer reflection bots. We will see.

no runescape is cool this way.. only a few bots fr skilling and no gold farming :/

I believe the bots are just color and are using shape sometimes for detection becouse otherwise a green dragon bot would attack normal players if they had green armor.

Overcoming clusterfutter will be similar to when a new deob was required when the update against aryan was done.

Its not a reflection bot. Its a color bot. For example if you wear green d hide near the green dragon bots they will start to follow your or even attack you. I have done this myself to skull bots and kill them.

Yes they have. Multiple people have in fact. It's just not practical to make a bot without an updater because its too intensive to update fields every update.

False. There are many private reflection bots currently working. The problem is there is no updater, making it somewhat impractical to release. There also seems to be a general feeling of "fuck, I don't wanna get sued" among reflection devs. Meaning it's unlikely that some of these bots will ever see a public release.

I don't think they have a huge impact in the game at the moment but

kristiaan, i completely agree with this comment, and i am loving doing it :P

Jagex has this time done alot of updates vs bots however I believe powerbot might release a different kind of bot since reflection will be dead forever it is possible to exist but will killed everytime.
Jagex owns the game and can go as far as removing it to stop bots forever.

Quick test to see if they're gold farmers: Walk up to them and say chi sing gual lao. It's not from a chinese dialect but it used to get me responses from the gold farmers in 06-07 when whip luring was popular

If reflection died somehow, why does everyone thinks it's actually dead? There more ways to code, maybe even to bypass the question will remain unknown so don't speculate. I'm quite sure Jacmob had a working Reflection Bot and he showed on Runefest? So if he can do it, why not someone else because they didn't yell it around or arn't as good as Jacmob? Well, not everyone is going for fame or wants to get known about it and they keep it private, besides you should be happy if it's true, else Runescape will get buttfucked again.
