SRL Archive - RS3 Outdated / Broken Scripts

This script was made in just one hour. I had set a challenge for myself, just for laughs, and this is the outcome. There's no SRL Stats, just a simple Volunteer pickpocket'er.

I was deciding if I should even release this or not, as I doubt many people will use it. But there's no use in letting sit and collect dust in my unreleased folder.

You must have completed the Buyers and Cellars quest as well as completed the From Tiny Acorns side-quest.


[NOTE]: MouseHandler.simba is also required for this script. To install it simply download the attached file from this post and place it in "C:/Simba/Includes/SRL/srl/misc/"

Any idea what the xp/h is for this part of the guild? I am looking to finish off 99 Thieving so this could help me^^. Will definitely test this tomorrow.

He wasn't sure when I asked, he said it's hard to tell if you were secesfull or not when thriving. I think he guessed 40-45k xp/hr ish, which isn't to bad I'd say.

its actually the fastest thieving xp in game, based on http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Pickpocket_trainer. unfortunately the script didnt work for me

For all those new scripters, change it to Cosh instead! (Try to figure it out on your own, it isn't too hard but is a great way to start scripting)

Coshing gives you 135k xp/h!

means u want make the script lure and bash the cosher volunteer, triple pickpocket, then repeat? that would be extremely hard and i doubt the script is fast enough to do triple pickpocket?

Triple pickpocket is 185k xp/h, double is easily achievable. Just remove the timer that prevents it from quick pocketing

can u try to do 1 then? if u can make coshing it'd be completely diff from this script

It's horribly slow, and it messes up by clicking Lure on the other dudes =/

yeah its like 180k xp per hour,also the best xp is monkey knives, its like 200k xp per hour, i was going to mae opne script but im learning the basics right now

You don't need to be that rude! If it's slow, then don't use it. Simply solution.
If you can do better, than do it :)

aw rats someone beat me to it! i just discovered this place and noticed the xp growth goes up as your level does! thanks for the script i'm going to try it out now !

People have asked me about the red salamander script and I'm simply not going to work any further on it. Much like this script it was an experiment using similar methods mixed with some of Livid Farmer. It's not worth going any further because of the issue of finding ropes on the ground; they chance radically change color every time they're dropped.

we are all getting this error and no 1 offers a solution? searched too cant find any solution

Compiled successfully in 3572 ms.

Can't test it myself but it compiles for me.

And there is no line 393 in this script…

I will give it a try now…

Edit: if a person to pickpocket is not on screen then it laggs me out (i.e. logs off), but as you said it was a rushed challenge so is a good attempt and works minus this pratical issue :)

darkcoder has the solution. script did not DeclarePlayers in the main loop, probably the "made in just one hour" caused this negligence :sasmokin:

EDIT: This script is actually pretty amazing, lol. I've gone from 35-52 in just 2 hours and 15 minutes. This is incredible for something that was created in just an hour.

Hey would you consider adding a thieves' guild chest/ jaildoor opener? its VERY good xp!

Only error ive gotten is the ClearRSCanvas error and i havent been able to find a way around it :/

Ok, updated the script to version 1.1. I didn't modify any of the actual script, just converted it to SRL5 & fixed the "Out of Range" error. Lemme know how it runs for you guys.

I'm trying it out now :) But I had to change:

because it would just right-click the man and stay like that :p I think it just needs a bitmap update though. Maybe you should put i a failsafe somewhere when it doesn't find the bitmap, it uses ChooseOption?

Works great for me!
Ive gotten about 17k xp from the last 20 mins. So potentially you can get 50k xp phr. This was at lvl 65 theiving..At which, I did fail some times.

either take the line out or change the line to say

LampSkill := Skill_Thieving;

This is actually really good if you fix it.
You should make a cosher too (for awesome xp :))

I will certainly give this a try when I start working on 90 thieving.

Totally fine my friend.

Not finding trainers and pickpocketing :(

I'm having issues getting this to work. It right-clicks the NPCs, but doesn't click pickpocket.

I tried the fixes that other posters mentioned but no luck. Any suggestions are welcome.

Edit: I worked it out, my copy/paste for the fix was sloppy :duh:

I have already gotten 85-87 thieving with this. As far as I can tell, I am getting about 75k+ xp/hr. I would have a better report, but I lost track of my ending experience.

I am running it now and will post a proggy later tonight.

I've been attempting to make my own, been running into various problems as i'm not an expert. I think if you have a descent amount of scripting knowledge you can "model" your script based on others :p

Can anyone point in the direction of where I should be looking to adjust the random mouse movements inbetween pickpocketing?

I'm only getting 20k an hour at the moment as the bot is spend a lot of time moving the mouse around inbetween pickpockets.

EDIT:

In-case anyone was wondering I figured out that my slow XP had nothing to do with random mouse movements. I mistakenly blamed the random mouse when it was actually poor colour matching. I picked a different colour and am now seeing 60k an hour XP. I think I can get a better colour match with some more testing and maybe lowering the tolerance.
I'm even thinking of changing FindObj to FindObjCustom so I can define more than 1 colour (this is my first foray into SRL/Simba so for me this is a huge learning curve).

I also added Antiban :stirthepot:

I'll report back once I've played around some more.

Re-adjusted a few things. Now getting between 70-80k per hour without Ardougne cloak or gloves.

The biggest and easiest difference was just changing the colour. Everyones colours are slightly different but try this:

Go to line 285 to find this

    if FindObj_F(X, Y, 3155747, 5, 1.08, 2.84, ['PickP', 'keting', 'ing v']) then 

and change it to this

    if FindObj_F(X, Y, 2300174, 10, 0.74, 1.87, ['PickP', 'keting', 'ing v']) then

Works flawlessly for me, pickpockets perfectly, only thing I can suggest is add a failsafe if it goes too far away from anyone to pickpocket. Often it will go after someone who is going towards a corner/edge of the room, if you get stunned once you're there or if it doesn't manage to click another person then it can be stuck for a couple of minutes until someone comes along. Apart from that it's a great script, can't fault it at all :) getting around 90k xp/hr with gloves of silence atm, proggy soon.

trying it now, so far so good on V1.2 will post more than one proggy over the next few days. experiencing about 70-90k per hour according to the counter….ill be back with hopefully a good 5+ hr proggy

Used a thieving guild script to get 99 thieving. I highly reccomend them, at 90+ thieving levlels you can blackjack over 200k xp an hour.

Everything runs smoothly, just it says im at 500k xp a hour, at 35 theiving, (lil bug there) ill get a screeny soon

You have to give it some time and the math will work it self out. ;)


I have an account 800k xp from 99 using a slightly modded version of this script. Will post here once 99 if it's alright with Flight.

This bot is one the best if the best bot you can use.

this bot is awesome bro, got from 40 thieving to 91 just now. This script solves randoms, and its one i use when i can't be bothered botting other levels. So easy to set up. Just click and come back in 10 hrs or so.No one hanging around to report you, and decent xp.

Just a slight problem with the XP/H. I'm getting 250k p/h at 45 thieving :O Other than that, it's flawless.

Why am i only getting 11k an hour? It's pick pocketing the trainers inside the guild.

i'm up to 125k per hour, at 98 thieving, getting 99 tomorrow

You have this nice walk to NPC procedure that you are not using I utilized that and made a better color finding function. Getting anything between 20-30k/h at 57 thieving(fluctuates when I get like 8 stuns in a row), I got 18k/h before my edits.

just got 99, didnt even take 2 weeks from 79. i recommend just using this, so easy and reliable. stuff those other more complex scripts

cannot get it to work very quickly, also doesn't find if npc isn't on screen.

Xp/h doesnt always work properly because LoadVars isn't running at the right time. I just moved it and the xp calculator is now working properly.
Find This:

Just set up in the guild.

Just got 99 Thieving with this script, and it was a tedious skill to level. But thankfully I got it without Pyramid Plunder! Also I can't show proggy's because unsolvable randoms usually screw up the EXP gain, so I didn't bother.

Believe me, it's on the to-do list. Probably sometime today I'll update it quick. I had actually planned to finish up Heavy-Rodder and then work on Granite Pro, but this is simple enough I could just do it & test it first.

There is something wrong with the Thieving XP/H counter provided but I managed to calculate based on XP gain around 27k XP/H at 54/55 Thieving. Great script & Safe for me ( Skiller here ) :)
