how to detect if fishing?

I have been thinking search for the fishing pole with a tpa, but what if the user is wearing that color amour?

Would checking the distance of the highest and lowest points in the tpas work safely you think?

take a look at MSI

i "borrowed" their pixel shift stuff from there for woodcutting and it seems to work pretty well

that just detects movement right? Really, nice. I figured the rocking of the player when standing would set that off

it does

best way to think of it
it takes a mini screenshot at one point, waits a certain amount of time then takes another and compares how different they are

the MSI team seemed to have really nailed the numbers though

also you can try the exp tab (the circle thing beside the minimap), most people have that open any ways, so basically keep on checking time from last exp gain, and if its over xxx ( i used 6000ms for fighting) then you can be sure your not fishing or something.

Also pixel shift sounds very very sexy:P

Yea thats what Ive been doing but i want something that doesnt have to wait xxx seconds. Humans dont have to, scripts should either lol.

I remember a while ago, I made a pixel shift procedure before for a woodcutter. I created TBox on the main screen and it would measure the pixel shift in that TBox.

Var MTB :Tbox;
Declares the TBox.

MTB.X1:= MSCX-100;
MTB.Y1:= MSCX-100;
MTB.X2:= MSCX+100;
MTB.Y2:= MSCX+100;
while (PixelShift(MTB, 1000) <= 4000) and (Not(InvFull)) and (TimeFromMark(O) < 60000) do Anti;

The MSCX is the man screen center point. So I'm creating a square around the center with all sides equal to 100. Then measures the the TBox, MTB, every 1000ms to see if it is still under 4000(Tolerance) so it can keep chopping. The rest is all infinite loop prevention stuff. Took me a while to post because I've seen faster rocks than my internet connection.

Great analogy ;) sounds like pixel shift is fairly popular. I have the script working with a 20 second delay to detect if fishing or not. Pixel shift would be muuuch better

There's not a whole lot of pixelshift while you're actually fishing with a pole. In most cases yes, pixelshift is the way to go, for sure, but pole fishing is a bit trickier. I'd suggest taking a look at my Heavy-Rodder script on how I use inventory counting to detect if the player is fishing or not.

That's what I'm doing now, but it wastes time. Character stands there for 20 seconds doing nothing until the script decides I must not be fishing. Msi's pixel shift sounds pretty good. I would try it but if I try running msi simba crashes

you dont need to run MSI in order to see how it works, just open the files

Oh i know how it works. Seeing how effective it is requires the ability to run. Iv already started adding the pixel shift though
