Has the topic of an SRL clan been broached yet?
We could bring the community further into the game so we have familiar people to chat/pvp/level with.
Naturally it would have to be done via invitation or an application process as to ensure that our RS accounts do not get linked to this website, but just an idea to throw out there.

Yeah, I doubt I will see that happening. If Jagex really wanted to, they could find out the clan and ban everyone in there.

^ that was my main concern and I figured an invitation through a pm only would suffice, but it's probably best not to.
We had this idea couple times, but the story always ends with jagex banning all:(
They cant ban you… the most they could do is watch you closely…

They'd have no reason… They can suspect you of botting but that's about it. Its like saying that people get banned for joining a specific chat.

True they can't technically just ban you, but as you said it would be bringing "extra" attention towards you. No doubt, the majority of people who would be in question would, in effect, end up botting on said account and Jamflex will be ready(Or so they claim).
Yea, so use at your own risk. I don't see this idea taking off but its viable…

They can do whatever they want, if that means banning people in a SRL clan just because they're associated with SRL, then they can do it. It's their game.

True, just as they can spy on our computer and check to see if we are running bots. I don't thinks its reasonable for them but yeah its possible.

^This haha. I'd join the chat, but I'm usually playing another game/scripting/working/not there when I bot. I really only check it to make sure the script is still running fine.

I think the main problem was/is our healthy lack of trust. I share my player/mains names with only the most intimite of trusties here. All my accounts are invariably associated with macroing. I guess yours are too. So any idiot with a bad temper can type in the whole clan as rule breakers.
Truth is: I trust noone but myself.

True, I think I would only give my username to a well known SRL member and I would expect the same cynicism from everyone else.

Well, many of the SRL leaders have accounts with names not entirely unlike their forum name (hmhm)….they where never banned.
P.S. WT-Fakawi has been man-banned a long time ago…yes, they do know where to find
me . Comes with the job :)
