it still functions great, also, start small. the pest control bot is extremely complicated, pick a simple task, and try to create a script for that…

It got moved to members only to encourage people to learn to script, and become a more active part of this community. I doubt anyone else will make one because it still works, but is only available to members.

Good luck learning to script though, this community is loaded with information on how to accomplish pretty much anything at all! You just have to have the determination.

It got moved to members to encourage people to leave this site as soon as a normal bot site re-opens.

That is definitely not the reason.

Pest Control was receiving a lot of heat, you could easily point out 3-5 bots per game, the move to members was smart.

I've modified the code to allow it to run to portals on my own behalf before the script went members because I felt this was an issue.

I've been looking through the history of some of the top contributors to this community and one thing I've noticed is a lot of them have no background in programming which to me is remarkable.

Take the time and learn how this stuff works, it's worth it in the end, and who knows, maybe you'll take a liking to it and go for a comp sci degree or even teach yourself and grab a few certificates.

Then you'll be thanking this community while you're working at a high paying job instead of bashing them for making a reasonable decision.

Haha, I love it when angry little leechers like you join our community. You honestly have no idea what you're talking about.

If you don't like the fact that a Member of this community, who actually contributes, decides to move his script to Members section in order to keep it from being abused, then that's not our problem.

You don't have to be here, you're here by choice. You're free to leave whenever you like :)

You hit the nail on the head. I had a little interest in programming when I joined SRL. Since then, I've made programming my full time job, and have learned many languages.

The thing is, these normal botting sites such as powerbot mainly consist of underpaid workers/sweatshop workers as was pointed out by jagex at runefest. They're number 1 goal is to pretty much leech out of everyone they can. The site owners leech of the bot users and the bot users leech off runescape. All you hear about with powerbot and other such websites are people stealing from the site and people hacking into the source to upload keylogged bots. The difference between that and villavu is that here people script because they are passionate and enjoy it. That's why most of the complex scripts are in the members section. They arnt just there to be leeched off, they are there for enthusiastic scripters to learn new unique concepts and also to be used as a reward for working hard to give something back. It all comes down to Money or Greed vs. Passion and Interest

Paid bots like idungpro and autowaterfiends were scripted by developers motivated by money, and they were better scripts then anyone on this will will ever make.

conclusion - money is the best motivation for script writers.

Your conclusion is incorrect, sorry. The scripts here are inherently better than those from the sites you mentioned simply because writing stable, reliable color scripts is much more difficult than their reflection counterparts.

And it's that type of attitude that reminds me of why I resigned from my position as the head administrator of a reseller website for Nexus.

A NORMAL BOT SITE?
There won't be no "normal bot sites" D3Y B3 G0N3!
Nah but seriously gtfo.

A normal bot site consists of leechers, crap staff, and injection methods. But oh wait, Jagex has stopped that. So either adapt or leave, cause we don't want your attitude round here!
GAHHHHHHH.

I am sorry.

Main Post : If you need help, I am always around for a question and answer session :) Hit me up.

Lol better conclusion =

Your paid bots are DOWN/NOT WORKING/WASTE OF MONEY/OFFLINE/JAGEX OWNED THEM whereas our nice little community is still strong, but growing weaker by you coming here now leave please :) :spongebob:

Then go make your own site and take requests. Go make your "better" scripts. I hate idiot leechers like you, leave.

Also, I know for a fact that whatever reflection can do, so can color.

You shouldn't feel that way. :) Just make sure you search before you post and you behave. We're usually pretty lenient about everything.

You don't have to worry about that as long as you don't exhibit leecher behaviour (post progress reports, help people out, etc!)
