I've studied a script here and it helps me to understand the language used here.
So I had wrote my own script by editing his and the new script now does a different thing. Though, I adopted the algorithm of some of his functions and procedures to determine the condition of the character, but I would say about 80-90% of the script is still written by myself and I've spend like a week to finalize it.

So the question is…will this affect my script from being approved?

Credit properly where you borrowed the code and I don't see any problem. It only become an issue when you only make minimal changes.

great, I would say the changes are not small =]
i've added a few new functions and I've spend a lot of time to debug, the great thing is it is working good now

but i'm not sure about a release…

btw, I've gave the original scripter a hat tip personally, but it seems that he hasn't been online for long…

Ask the user if you can and if he says okay go for it.
Or just edit it even more and more until it's barely similar to thr original, and realease it regardess! :p

well, the thing is he hasn't been online for like a month now…

but other than the paint (and I've even the add few more info in the paint), I would say it's barely similar….

well…about the release, I would say I don't want to share it to a leecher…so…i'm still struggling…(and I assume this is why you guys have a membership system right?)

Usually you should ask for permission first, but it isn't that big of a deal as long as the majority of your script isn't their work. Just make sure you credit everything you borrowed.

What does your script do?

Sometimes when I re-create a broken script I would delete until it's a skeleton(To keep logic) and re-write from there.
