So got some questions about the GE :D because not 100% sure about the text :/ What i'm trying to do is make a buyer then seller but first want to know how to read the Text well the numbers which show how much you buy the item for. So wanted to make Failsafe but not sure on the fail safes although i'd read;

if my answer is in there can some1 point it out :/

anways on to the questions and what i think…



1.Is the GE text the same as the rest of rs font?

I think that its slightly different isnt it? because it hadnt changed with rs update of the text?


2. Which Text retrieving function would i use to get the numbers(amount of gp spent)?

For this question dont want to seem like i'm a total noob or nothing but i did do bit of testing ^^

what i found was this;

With the color <39321> i found these similar texts;

with the color <6400255> i found these texts';

So would i use one of these function of text finding?

so i thought this one would work best of all.. with some Text i tried to use but didnt work well…

heres what i did >.<

Got this error…

[Error] (9:63): Type mismatch at line 8

So thanks in advance for help :/ i might start of something less complex if this doesnt work out just want to work though different ways of failsafing and such and such..

Why not use FindTextTPA?

function FindTextTpa(Color, Tol, xs, ys, xe, ye: integer; Txt, Chars: string; Action: fnct_ActionOptions): Boolean;

FindTextTPA(123123, 10, MSX1, MSY1, MSX2, MSY2, '100', 'Font', Move);

Chars = The font that the text uses, by the way. Look through the Simba font files to find the one you want. :)

Chars = The font that the text uses, by the way. Look through the Simba font files to find the one you want. :)

ahhh ok thanks lol when i said font i was like "Arial?" but kk thanks i'll have a look see. Do think its a good enough Failsafe? a Number check ? not gonna make a GE script cuz i think it'd be massive but probably small parts of it ^^ anyways thanks +rep :spot:
