Hey, am new to this srl botting(programming)….i have used the most common bots before. I was basically a farmer and kept the cash for myself hehe.

Anyway, i have been using the inbuilt powerfisher at the shilo village and came across a few problems. Firstly, the program doesnt move in to place to find another spot, it only seems to move to ones that are insight. Secondly(to do with "firstly" :P), when it goes to move to another spot it stops and well seems to be stuck.

Is this normal or isnt it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

1.) Put your errors and the bug reports in the thread containing the "powerfishing" script that you used, whatever it may be.

2.) Do not abuse the scripts here to a point where Jagex will retaliate against the SRL community.

3.) Refer to number one.

4.) Try to answer the questions yourself and use the search feature. If you still can't find the answer you may post a thread.

I don't like when people are rude to new comers. I hope this was more helpful.

Ahh I'm not heartless :(

It's just the search button can be used to find the answer for 95% of questions. Chances are if your having a problem, someone else had the same problem and asked about it.

Yes, I personally don't like a lot of these newcommers here, thinking they can just come here, don't read anything(rules?, stickies?, anything?), but requesting with the first posts …

I guess I would be a bad mod, because I would just ban them xD.
Sure some of them will become a valuable member, but I think the chance of that is so low that it worth the "risk" of banning.

Not sorry if I sounded mean, that was my intention so PatDuffy would feel that there are more mean dudes then he. Because he is a valuable member, whom I respect.

p.s.: This is not just because of this post, there are other high quality threads like this too.

Thanks for all the replies people. I can assure you im not here to leech, i do plan on learning about coding. I also want to help other people.

The main reason im here of course is becuase of the programmes ability to "help" with rs. Trust me, the last thing i want i for this site to turn in to the likes of rsbots etc. The less people abusing this site for rs the better in my opinion.

Now back on topic. S1N, did you find anything?

I have tried searching for my problem, but couldnt find anything.

Maybe this can be moved to the fishing section?
