What To Wear?

Hey, so I've recently been botting Mining and Woodcutting. I'm wondering what people generally wear. Besides my Boots of Lightness, Varraock Armour, and pick/hatchet, I'm stuck.

I also have the Magic and Fletching skillcapes, but never wear them because people always wanna talk about them (even though they are both extremely bottable, and I botted both).

So, any other suggestions to help me blend in? (P.S. I'm P2P).

Smart idea with boots/armor, and not the capes cool.
I wear nothing besides my axe/pickaxe and I've been fine for years!
Your setup sounds just fine to me.

You don't have to wear anything in F2P as long as you are not level 3. I've noticed the stereotype is still going around. In members, it doesn't matter what level you are because people already know that people bot at all levels. However, you should wear something in a members world because I've noticed a lot of people do, and you might just want to blend in.

Currently using Armadyl Body, Armadyl Chaps, Boots of lightness and a Robin Hood hat as my "skillers costume". Never had any problems.

I get problems all the time with my gear so I simply changed into "noob" gear.

I used to wear an obsidian cape instead of my skill capes but sadly I am a 138 now so that looks awkward, I wear Avas backpacks now.

In terms of armour, dragonhide goes a long way.

Lol man that stuff does not even matter, just wear whatever you feel…

Don't wear anything expensive or unknown that will make people want to talk to you. But also don't wear noob gear that will make you look like a bot.

If your woodcutting, maybe a cavalier or lumberjack clothes. if your mining, maybe a mining helmet.

Dmed, Gplate and Dlegs on 138 ftw =) hehe, same problem but for combat if I didn't wanted to attract attention because I was afk slaying, I wore Rock-shell plate and legs instead of bandos. You would be suprise but I was told several times they did not know I was 138 until they right-clicked me lol, mostly because I used Sumona and she gave me nooby tasks but yea you get the idea.

I stood at VWest other day on crowded world for 6 hours other day with like Full Lord Marshall, Max Cape, Corruption, the flashies things I could find and no a single person talked to me.

It depends on luck I guess but when I want to go incognito in RS, I usually wear all the task items I can. Ardy cape is the best cape you can wear since people are not going to congratulate you about it, I've botted for months on maxed main and Full Task with agile legs since there is not legs task item has kept me incognito. Don't wear any rares or valuables or untradables like Chaotic items, they'll just be reasons for others to start op conversations.

Tl'dr Full Task Clothing regardless of levels and good luck avoiding reports/talks. It comes down to luck in the end.

On a side note, people in F2P don't know anything related to members so if you are F2P, I suggest removing Member items, while testing my script on F2P I got asked like 10+ times for money, 20-30 times I got saluted, 20+ times I got asked about my War Chief prefix, mostly how did you get it to say "X" before your name and stuff. If you got a noteworthy prefix, I would disable it or something, like War Chief if I get members, I can just turn it off and turn it back on when I want to legit on my account

Yeah I tossed on a Robin cause it looks legit haha. But I guess I'll be fine because a lot of the people cutting and mining next to my guy are just wearing random stuff.
