I don't think they're dynamic. If you're really sure of it, try taking a few close screenshots and zooming in on the same pixel over and over again with different screenshots on the same area to see if the colors are any different. PlayerDots on the map definitely change, those are dynamic, now the floor too… Ugh.

damn these updates are designed for colors

I noticed this while walking through Trollhelm. (Troll mountain north of Burthope I can't remember the name)

The shade change happens after loading the area; pretty noticeable.

True, but from my memory and looking at the image post on first post those colors are A LOT darker from what I remember. So maybe they are changing much more drastically now? Or maybe nothing's changed :p. Because yes, for years the colors always change after a 'loading screen' and we know about it and handle it properly. If they change even more drastically we can still handle it :stirthepot:.

Well… I just noticed that certain MM symbols are, very rarely, taken off the map completely.

I don't ever remember seeing a Bank symbol there.

There's definitely been a bank symbol there. The other day I was walking by the Soul Wars entry and the symbol was moved and in a weird position from where it normally is.

It's a more recent thing there. They put a bank chest like in SW and CW.

Well… my Naturez script relies on the bank symbol to find the bank chest, without that it won't work, and judging my the usage of Naturez (114 days and counting) I'm guessing a bank symbol has been found there before. ;)

Why is the bank procedure only relying on the bank symbol to be there? Why don't you use SPS to bring your character after teleporting back to burtheurope to bring you near a tile where the bank is ? Either way, I hope this bullshit stops really soon. There's several rants from real players saying these color changes are ridiculous, as well as some item changes too, they don't even look like what they're supposed to be sometimes.

Sometimes, the white dots on the minimap(Online people around you), change to a strange white-pink color… just my char's dot stays stable.

Actually if u guys haven't noticed.. when the client updates, everything changes and now it also changes dynamically ingame without an update..

I believe I reported this already or maybe I was drunk and forgot but during my script runs, after exactly 3 hrs, the mouse on simba messes up so bad that it starts moving around everywhere and cannot find anything.. It cannot find the bank, the close button, cannot log out, nothing.. U know when u do colour tolerances n it finds more than one colour and the mouse moves to every colour that it finds and goes sorta crazy.. well thats the behaviour it does after exactly 3 hrs.. happens at random though.

Also my minimap dots change dynamically IN GAME now.. instead of just when the client restarts.. so yeah.. so what I did to fix it was to add a procedure called crashsmart to my script and whenever it fails to find anything for more than 10 tries.. smart will crash and restart.. its the only way I can think of..

I don't think they can push updates without logging you out mate. It's like the same concept as trying to edit a file that is being in use, won't work.

Explain why items change size and shape while in game and in use.. Might just be jagex using GIF's.. but I doubt that :S I would video tape the mouse going crazy n stuff but… jagex will just pinpoint my account/bank and ban hammer me. Just saying what I've been seeing happening to my scripts lately. Only stops when I reload the client.

And u can edit a file while in use with a program.. depends on what other program is using it and what they're doing to it.. Only thing with this is that SOMETIMES it doesn't always show the changes without having to re-open the file..

The file can be edited with two different programs.. at the same time.. its just a matter of displaying those changes on screen.. usually to do this we close and re-open a file.. Notepad++ has a feature that detects changes and asks if you want to reload the file due to changes that were made as that's the easiest way to display changes.. by reloading it.



EDIT: It seems to be with that border colour that surrounds the chat box.. you know.. that brown border and same colour as the bank interface/inventory.. it goes crazy for those :S And I the only colours my script uses are green, white and orange.
