We'll that just sucks.

I just tried to trade over 12,000 Iron ores from my botting account to my main only to realize there is a trade restriction.

I haven't played RS in more years then I can remember, when did this arise? More importantly, anyone have ways around it?

This was an update a couple weeks ago, but iirc it only effects new accounts. The way to get around it is to buy membership on the account with the restriction.

Or you can slowly trade the item over. Will take ages though.

Ah so I should farm like no tomorrow on it then convert to members when the profit is high enough?

sucks, but atleast there's a way around it

thanks

No you shouldn't farm, and if you plan on it, you should leave. Otherwise, I guess the simplest way would be to buy a month of members.

I take it you either have a different definition behind the term "farm" or this whole website/client would be completely redundant.

Then explain your definition.

farm, on most MMORPG's (notably WoW) means "gather"

meaning he is going to bot a lot of ores, then make members account and transfer it over

Yeap pretty much that, I'm almost to the point of suggesting that valuable MSI scripts be Members+ again…

Yea, I agreed on some thread.. no idea where.. people were saying make banking scripts members again

only a matter of time till we get some kids running 100+ accounts with MSI and selling their profits on ebay

My current salary leaves me with no reason to ever try to use ebay for selling in-game currency. Personally I believe you're life has hit a pretty steep low in order for that to be an option.

The current reason I use the bot is to eliminate the mindless tasks from the game, my major one being mining.

Sorry if this caused any misconceptions, I must say though, I'm surprised with the unnecessary assumptions from some "SRL Members".

oh I wasn't talking about you in that post at all.. you said botting account, which is clear you have 1 account you get your materials for your main with.. that's nearly identical to what I do.

you're correct when you say, farm the hell out of it then turn it members.. exactly what I'd do

We should have a current system in effect, a system that can tell that a person is our scripts to bot farm, make the SIMBA client close itself.

Can't you just sell the iron ores and buy rune armour and get killed with it make sure it's unnoted like your main kills your bot account?

People will use a different bot then so that doesn't solves the problem and it would be hard to implement it becouse it will defenitly restrict other users also.

Yep, but only for accounts who haven't bought members. They are turning F2P back into a trial again.

Correction on these two reply's.

Its a limit set on *NEW* Runescape F2P accounts.

Old F2P accounts before the update are not effected by this update.

Does not work. The restriction applies to death, drop trading and trading. You can not get around this apparently…Atleast thats what i have been told…you would try the wild lol
