Description:

• Tans all kind of hide at the Tanner's shop in the West of Varrock.

How to run:

• Read every bullet point here.
• Make sure Simba, SPS & SRL are fully updated.
• *IMPORTANT* You now need a Crafting level of 2+to tan Hard Leather, Dragon Leather, & Snakeskin.
• Place your accounts at the bank in the west of Varrock with nothing in the inventory
• Make sure you have money in each players MONEY POUCH.
• If you get this Error: Exception: Access violation at line 146 then run Simba by itself as an ADMIN then open the script and run it, it's a problem with SPS that is causing the error.
• Babysit for a couple loads to make sure everything is working correctly.
• I recommend using multiple accounts with this script for the best results.
• It WILL NOT switch player if there is only one player active.

• Fill in the item each player is making.

Had to manually put bank pin in, couldnt find the bank screen even tho i had filled out the form for the pin. then got this error.

Tried having the hide in many different spots, none worked =/

I expected the members hides not to work. Could you possibly get a screenshot of the Green d'hide & Green Leather in your inventory and I'll create a DTM for it. I currently don't have a members account so I created the DTMs for members items from the pictures provided on RSwiki.

I've fixed the problem were the PinScreen wasn't being detected.

^ That's what I keep getting. I'm using tanning cow hides if that matters at all. I am really looking forward to use this script!

I replaced the DTM for Green dragon hide with

Line 690 looks like
TheDTM := DTMFromString(Item.DTM) So I have no idea where it's getting $6+ from.
Anyone know how to fix?

Ok, I'm back. I'll be updating this either today or tomorrow depends on how fast I can buy members.

Walking is a bit bugged because checking the flag is messed up. I'll work on updating that.

restart simba it happens sometimes.

i'm having alot of problems with your walking method. the bot isn't patient enough it thinks it hasn't found a point while it just hasn't rached it yet.. resulting in my char running back and forth between bank and tanner en then just log out on error of tanner not found. must say that smart is quite laggy… with every script tough.

That's to do with the Flag checking procedure. I'm working on a new method as I type this.

Flag checking seems to be fixed in SRL5

Also, to improve your SMART lag re-install JAVA and move the slide bar all the way to the top in SMART.

I'm also working on getting members, so I can update the members DTMs.

It keeps clicking the north button every time it banks is this normal becouse isn't that a obvious way to detect a bot?

Also the green dragonhide dtm's or pictures don't match always becouse jagex has implented a glitch in when if you withdraw every now and then that the object looks start to glitch a bit getting buggy so then the script stops.
Just make it that everyone should have the hide they wish to use in their first slot problem solved and that it is not checked by dtm becouse it's not trustable.

Clicking north is so SPS is accurate, I ClickNorth a lot when playing legit.

The item glitches shouldn't throw the DTMs off, if you keep the hide before the leather in your bank it should be fine. Even with the little graphic glitches the items currently have.

Well the item glitches do throw the DTMs off becouse I have tried what you sayd and it doesn't works it still can't find the green dragonhide alot of times.
Could be becouse I have alot of green dragonhide 5k+ but still it doesn't detects it.
Also it looks like colors of green dragonhide switches sometimes wich causes this I believe it just changes a tiny bit but enough for the dtm not to recognize it I believe.

Yeah having same problem, tanned 2.5k flawless this morning then i think jagex changed Green dragon hide some. Cant find it half the time now, tried different bank slots and all but still cant. Probley needs the DTM updated

Download the version posted, I updated them earlier.

Alright ill try it again in a bit. Power mining atm. Ill let you know how it runs.

Well the dtm's of the green dragon hide work but the black dragon hide dtm's don't.

You're probably right, The version I'm using is modified. :o

Updated to 0.1.4, incorporated DDTMs & Added real stat tracking.

like sometimes when i get on my comp i see that my bots are logged out. Maybe its just because of the lag of running 2 bots at once. dont know for sure though why its doing it. ;o

Post what is displayed in the debug box(the box below the code) on Simba next time, It'll help me out in trying to fix whatever the problem is. :)

° Made the MainLoop procedure a case instead of if/then
° Made the whole script faster, I've been getting 1,400+/hr instead of 1,200/hr with no resting.
° Fixed the incorrect reporting of hides p/Hr in the progress report. - Thank you, ITankbots for reporting this.

Just had to delete all of the script in Player one and Player 2, And Kept player 0.

This works perfectly, I have one question though. On one of my computers, it's a bit on the slow side, and the lag makes it so that the script has problems running. Is there any way to compensate for the lag, or do I just need to stick to my faster PC?

If it's unplayable lag even when playing legit then I'm afraid there isn't much I can do.

I'd stick to a faster computer as lag will most definitely affect the speed of the script and you won't get the best run-time or results(Hides p/Hr).

It's okay for playing legit, and it also worked with the nexus client, but what's happening is it right clicks on the hides in the bank before the yellow circle appears on them, and it says "Unable to find DTM", presumably because the "withdraw" interface is covering the item itself. Thanks though!

Download sps 1.5 if you havent already. If you did restart simba. sps2 gives errors sometimes.

Black dragonhide dtm Just out of date most likely. or you have it in a hard spot to find. try changing bank slots.

If it's in an easy spot and you can't get the dtm to work, you could always try swapping out the withdraw via dtm with something generic like WithdrawItem(0, 0, 27) or the like and have the black d hide at the very first slot in bank.

This happens with blue hides aswell. It right clicks on the hide, and then just sits there for like 10 seconds and then logs itself out. It usually works fine for atleast a little while, but it always happens eventually.

Comment out FindNormalAntirandoms but do babysit if u do this.

I'm glad it's working for you, to answer your last question I've ran this script countless times for 4+ hrs with the player switch @ 32 mins and I've only encountered one random(Bob's island) in that time.

Could you go too your Simba folder and click the includes folder then IF you have an SPS folder double click it and tell me what files/folders are in there.

If you left Simba to decide where to install then it should be located in the C:/ drive

it dosnt work for me :SS i was going to use it on like 4 accounts

It works, you just have to tweak with it.

- Geo - sometimes it has a hard time finding the GD Leather, and it stops for that reason. The longest proggy I've gotten recently was 2hours.

Also, when you start the bot up, if you dont already have 28 Green Dragonhides in your inventory, it says it cannot find the GD DTM. Just a heads up. Not sure if you would like to add a failsafe.

Another Edit: If I try to start the script without first opening Simba ( Just clicking the " Varrock gtanner ".simba file, it gives me a weird Smart Error. Anyone else having the same problem?

@BGXD: Start Simba by itself as an Admin then open the script and run it. It's an error with SPS.

@Vilenueve: I need information, post what is in the debug box at the bottom of Simba, tell me what is happening when it stops working. Help me, help you.

@C3NTRIX: When I get members later tonight, I'll look into it tonight and see if I can sort the problem out. Does the last problem have anything to do with the access violation at line 146 error?

It clicks the cowhide to withdraw it and that's what happens. Don't tell me to update it, I downloaded it from the first post 5 minutes ago. And out of curiosity, why do you still bother with DTMs for this script, they've been nothing but problems from the get go.

The script messes up quite continuously, I think if you do not like the way he has configured his script, to make your own. I am in the process of learning, but it is very grueling when you can only learn for 30 minutes a day.

The problem isn't the DTMs, it's when the ChooseOption menu is open and it fails to find the right option so the menu stays open and therefore loops the DTM finding function, I have a fix and I'll upload it now. Thank you for the debug it's what I needed to fix this because I've never experienced this bug before.


I'm still trying to buy membership… I'll get to testing the GD Hide problem soon.

That's a problem with SPS, It should be fixed when the next SPS version comes out. Just keep opening Simba by itself then running the script.

If else fails, try redownloading the script and trying it again.

Geo, you know the problem you fixed where in the Bank it would click the Green Dragonhide, and since the "withdraw, use, etc " screen came up, it covered the Green Dragonhide causing the script to lose the DTM ? Well, the same thing happens for the tanner, if you start the script next to him. Just a heads up.

go to your plugins and copy and past the sps pluging.

once you do that then you will have two plugings int he folder called sps.dlll
now for the one that u copied change the name my right clicking on it and go to properties, and change the name to sps2 and your done. Run the bot and it should work. BTW thats how I fixed that problem figured it out by my self :)

Did you not read what i wrote in the post above you, if you read that it solves ur problem…. change SPS.dll to SPS2.dll
And your done/

I found a bug, but i dont really know how u could fix it, well when the guy gets to the tanner, it always miss clicks the guy, the color shows up, then the guy moves and it miss clicks

This is the last time I'll be posting about this error because it's pathetic how users, like both of you, don't read anything and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter and for it to work without error. This is not how the SRL community works, you must read and then you shall be rewarded.

EDIT: This is now the new Anti-leach for this script, find the SPS2 link and update.

It just clicks trade on the tanner and sits there.

Make sure Strings[0] is set to ITEM_BLD_LEATHER not ITEM_BLD_HIDE

For the world error, go to line 1378 and change 20 to whatever valid world you want. Or load RS in a browser and then run the script.

Does it by any chance open a file? If it does then run Simba by itself then run the script, and yes you can run the RS client to get rid of the error.

Thanks, It checks if the player is at the tanner or bank by subtracting the distance between the players position and each of the vpts points from the variable WTA.Dist which is set in the procedure SetupWalking. Distance checking is done with the CheckPos Function. If 2 of the distances between the players position and the vpts is less than WTA.Dist then it results true else it results false and loops back to the beginning of the walking fucntion.

Pxnx13 is your Srl completely up to date? It should be 2.0 if its not the script will not work.

Make sure you have the newest SPS version, if still doesnt work find the thread for sps2 plugin and download that.

I love this script!, It was flawless until the update yesterday. The interface has changed slightly when you trade with the tanner. Instead of an option box appearing that takes up the entire frame, the options appear on an overlay over the chatbox. Can you please fix? I'm sure it would be an easy fix for experienced scripters, but I still a beginner and still learning.

Can't seem to get the script to work. It finds the tanner, trades with it, but it won't tan the hides. It'll just keep trading with it until termination.

The script is currently outdated. I'm not sure when I'll get time to update it as I'm quite busy working on other projects and I have work.

Could you please update this? This is the only F2P Tanner :(
