Contribution has been the sole purpose of SRL, you're not going to change a thing around here. The administrators, developers, and members do this for FUN not as a lifestyle, to cheat and earn money like the morons over at powerbot or rsbuddy. This isn't a community where we all make thousands of accounts and earn money and benefit off of other peoples work. It's a learning environment, get with it.

I'm sorry if this offends you but that's a terrible idea.

The whole reason why SRL is one of the best botting community's is simply because you can't just leech and buy you way places here. You have to work for it and give it your all.

This is ultimately up to the staff but I can tell you buying SRL Membership will never happen. We are not in this for the money. Myself as well as the staff do this in our spare time. Contributing to the community is the only way. I'm even sure that if you polled the Members they would also deny this request as it would lessen the meaning behind their promotions. It's an Accomplishment when you are promoted to the next level.

No. This is a learning community. An SRL Member is as its name states, a true member of the community. Unless you apply yourself, you're going nowhere. Besides, we would get into legal trouble by profiting off this site.

I don't understand the logic behind your statement, either. How would buying membership motivate script writers?

Which community are you from may i ask?
I am not an SRL member but it deserves to be earned, not given, I despise people who want everything on a silver platter, there is everything there to show you exactly how to Script, and write scripts.

Sorry To the community, if this was offensive or undermining to anyone but i have strong moral opinions on things like this, my little brother is given everything on a silver platter. I have earned pretty much everything i have ever had the hard way.

Anyways, take but a moment to learn man, its not that hard, Go to the Tutorial Island and learn.
If you are having difficulty ask someone, i know i have not yet put forward a script but i am learning; everyone here is helpful.
Just learn man, thats what we are about here.

Or just pull out your brains instead of your moneybag.
You can have a petition, but SRL isn't a democracy. Heck, even staff polls high-up are sometimes overruled by the provisioned persons.

The beauty of SRL Members is: you can be sure everyone in there actually deserved it at some point. There are no leechers there, and almost everyone in there has half a brain. We don't want to see the boards clogged like "omfg the scripts are broken". Over there, most, if not all people know how to fix them themselves, the few who don't (a couple of people got SRL Members without scripting, for doing contributing a lot to this wonderful community) actually know not to whine. They know what useful feedback is.

What would be the use of degrading SRL Members to VIP room? To pay for the server? Not necessary, SRL is already self-sustaining there, so everything would be pure profit/money hungry. Pay the scripters? If so, how would the money be divided? By script usage? By popularity? By the looks of someone? Just put it all in my own pocket? No one will ever agree on this part.

It's just not practical to do, and generates a community of people who are in here just for the money instead of the honour. We managed to avoid the flaming, trolling and incompetent staff members some of 98% had. Money will just create a fire and add tons of fuel to it.

So no, this was not, is not, and will never be an option.
