I don't know if you heard about Killing Floor, but I just heard of it this weekend because of the Steam deal where you can play it for free this weekend and purchase it for only 5€, which is a 75% discount!
Obviously I bought it (I love cheap games), and I'd like to share this great game with you because of the great offer this weekend.
It's a coop first-person-shooter apocalypse zombie survival game featuring different classes with different bonuses to discounts on specific weapons, extra healing, extra welding (You can weld doors to block of zombies!), extra damage and better reloading time and such. These classes can be improved by doing certain tasks like headshotting a specific amount of zombies with a specific type of guns and such.
There is a number of waves (depending on the server) for each round. Between each round it's important to run to the trader, who also moves between each wave, and buy yourself better guns, fix your armor and buy more ammo. At the final wave you will meet a challenging zombie patriarch!
If this sounds awesome, try it out this weekend on steam! Remember it's free to play this weekend and it's only 5€ to buy should you want to play it later. ;-)
Oh, and should you want to play on my dedicated server, add 85.200.48.66:7707 to favourites! (Right click on the background in favourites tab and "Add To Favourites")
tl;dr: Get your ass on Steam and try this great game <3

This is an amazing game. We've been playing it at LAN parties since it was still a UT2k3 mod. I liked it more earlier in life when it was a bit harder and more strategic but it's still great/

Yeah I love KF. Just as a newbie don't join it thinking it's like L4D where you can just push away all the zombies and they don't do much damage to you. :p

I'm always so slow at finding these great games, but I'm sure glad I found it! Really addictive, just like most games where you can improve your character :P
It's quite difficult on normal and long I noticed very well. With full squad I never got past wave 7 :P But then again I'm still a noob. Can't wait to waste the rest of the weekend on this ;)

I have always wanted this game from the beginning(since it's on steam), but I am not sure I will play enough to compensate the cost.
I have tried it out however(as it's free now for the weekend) and that's the type of game I can play for years. Even stupid flash games with weapons available to buy and zombies to kill can keep me in place for ours.
I am really tempted.
EDIT: Tried to join but it's full. In favourites tho. Gonna buy this. Can't stop.
