Sythe discussions

I'm usually a pretty calm guy when it comes to tolerating posts of people's opinions, you all know that, but some things that people say really get under my skin. I've found someone on the Sythe forums who says such things.

From: Li0n

From: FaildPure

I don't know of any bots but it's probably someones private bot. Or their legit and don't want to talk?

Not sure if it's possible to make a "Private bot" as you need a client to do so? and the only person clever enough yet to make a Bot client after bot nuke is Jacmob from RSBuddy.

But anyways, perhaps it is reflection, like RiD, but i doubt it.

Concluding: there is a 98% chance they ARE NOT bots, just anti-social twats.

From: Li0n

Yes, RiD is relatively safe and undetectable, but the quality of the bots aren't up to standards of RSBuddy or Nexus.

Nexus (RSBots) and Powerbot keep delaying their progress reports, saying they will be back. But to be honest; they won't be back.

SCAR or Simba i hear works, but again, the quality is not great. It is also know n for having viruses and trojans - thought to be a myth, it is NOT.

hope this helps

Things like this make me proud that it happens on low-quality communities like Sythe and not here at Villavu. I'm very thankful we have such a great community here.

I consider this a good thing. The less the public knows about how we'll these bots could really and do really work, the better for us as a community in security.

I say just let them keep thinking that, we don't want those type of people in our community.

Majority of people that mention scar/simba have not even tried it. They just heard that it was "not good" or "doesn't have many scripts". What they don't understand is we are not a leecher community. If you leech, you don't get the best that we have to offer. Plain and simple. The botting community has been spoonfed by java bots for the past two years. They don't know what to do now that they can't just download one thing and click run.

The majority of people cringe when they see code and start freaking out when they don't see a GUI pop-up, where they can enter all of their account information. The second there is something wrong with most 'newly ported' sort of speak users, they just post a thread saying "OMFG THIS DOES NOT WORK FIX IT", while the actual members who've been here around longer are actually using things like MSI and such. Quite annoying if you ask me.

I was reading it too and couldn't believe what that kid said. Being around this community for the last month or so, I've come to realize this is the nicest, most helpful forum I've come across on the internet. When I ran RSBuddy scripts, I was always skeptical of my account getting hacked. I got that feeling the first day of being here (just because I was new) but haven't been worried about it a bit since then.

You can't just judge a whole community by a few injudicious comments. With a greater amount of traffic you are bound to come across these comments. Even in this community you're starting to get flaming leechers,

Yeah, sadly, people like this are just COMPLETE leechers and can't do anything for themselves. It's sad really, but as more and more people flock to this forum, you guys will definitely see this more.

This bot nuke, for me, is killing the community itself. More leechers coming from RSBuddy (major part), and many unpleasant posts, stupid doubts that are written around the forum ( there is the search button! ). It's a shame :/

shstiger2009

2011-12-09 17:41:15

It's not killing the community. From what I can see, it's much more active and in a growth stage. In the next few months, the people posting "OMG IT DOESN'T WORK" will either give up, or get what they need working and won't post anymore. This is just the period where it's a little chaotic because everyone that used reflection bots are starting to panic.

On the positive side, you'll get members that are a refreshment to the community and even will start scripting. I've already released an HerbCleaner script, and I've learned a ton. I can go into any script really, and know WHY it's doing what it's doing, based on the code. A month ago? Didn't know a thing. I've also seen a few other new members trying to release and create their own work.

+Rep to you good sir.

I completely agree with everything you have said. In time, all of the people who post the idiotic comments will be too frustrated because of their own stupidity and will leave. We have already seen atleast a half dozen new members who have shown an interest for learning, and have posted scripts or helpful suggestions. I think we will obtain a few valuable members from all of the newer traffic.

onilika

2011-12-09 17:55:31

There are some that want to so something for the community, they want to help. Those are valuable new members. But the rest, where they only come to get scripts, I hope they leave, tbh.
Yes…there are a few members that already started making some scripts: those thieving, herb scripts…that's a good start! And then they will start loving scripting, they will make harder scripts, and we all will be thanking them ! :)

Actually, I've never used MSI and I don't really actually bot… :o
I came here for the learning experience and the chance to really take part in a supportive community in which I would be able to freely learn at my own pace. With such great members and the atmosphere, any 'Leecher' will generally end up making their own scripts. One way or another.

You're right about that.

Li0n from Sythe apparently is one of those guys who tried to set up Simba and what not, failed to do so, and got really heated & gave up shortly after. So because he's upset about that (and not reading all the tutorials we have) he's trying to give Simba a bad name to people who are genuinely curious about it. Is that fair to them?

Finally someone admits it, all the RiD and sometimes Simba people, always deny advertising on sythe. Even though they're the first ones to post on any thread with bot in it and say "RiD's flawless, no one's ever been banned." Even posting their own threads about how undetectable they are.
If you advertise in a high traffic site you are going to be getting these leechers.

Main

2011-12-09 20:04:50

I don't really advertise, I promote. I never told any lies about simba and I don't think the rid guys did that much either.

I only advertised it for about 2 weeks and now I mainly go there and tell the truth.

I'm from Sythe and yes, there are a lot of mis-guided people there - who knows where they get their info from - but I try to correct them where applicable.

It's not a bad community though, much more mature compared to what the RSbuddy boards were like - unbearable lol

But SRL is my new home & it's the best community I've found :)

RiD definitely over exaggerates how good their bots are… I've used most of their bots and they usually get stuck every few hours. When they say that they're undetectable on a lot of their bots homepage (they don't mention following any guidelines.)
They're clearly overstating and basically lieing to get more people to purchase their product.

Swagger

2011-12-09 20:39:41

Who cares? If you're not patient enough to set up Simba (took me ~4 hours to finally figure it out without asking any questions), then you don't deserve to bot. My dad knows lots of languages, and he says Pascal is one of the most basic languages - and that it's great for integrating into other more advanced languages - so I'm learning here first. Will have plenty of time over the break.

We used to do things like this back when I did private server. Very obvious java mistakes and small compile errors.

I'm not gonna lie, I lot of people don't like Simba because it's more complicated.

I've been botting for quite a while, and I can say that other clients where much simpler to set up and run. That's because they are point and click and done.

That being said, this client that is a bit more complex and takes a tad bit more to get used to is running, while the reflection clients aren't haha.

RSBot:
Is it true another bot was working?

To date no other bot has been updated to be fully functional with scripts. Rest assured that without evidence, any such claims are disputed and subject to much speculation.

Either they are extremely naive, or just don't like the idea of losing customers.
