Hey guys, I'm brand new, and just trying out the auto alcher and it's working great :D
Although this is not of much benefit to me (Because I will probably be 94+ mage before it ever gets developed) but making the bot that makes glass by using the lunar spell would be a great idea because:

It's great magic exp
It's good crafting exp
It makes a bomb of money! (900k+ p/h)

Just search "glass" and you will find it ;)
It shouldn't be TOO hard to make I don't think (And for banking just make it click bank all tab and make having a full bank a req so it doesn't bank runes but banks the glass)

If you are unsure of the method just youtube it or so, it's easy to see the invents.

EDIT: Just to let you guys know, my account is a 30 def noob so it does NOT have lunar diplomacy done sorry :3 (incase you need an acc to test)

I would like to see this script come out too, and I AM able to do this in case a scripter wants to make this.

I actually looked up doing this as a script, but I decided against it because of the materials needed.

To be able to super-glass make for several hours in a row, you need a ton of sand and soda ash. Although the sand is easy (if i remember) to get a lot of, the soda ash could be a problem. I just didn't see it as a worthwhile endeavor if you can't do it for hours on end.

Thing is, sand is VERY easy to get bulk, and sode ash isn't bad, and it's more than possible to run this bot a whole day after a day or two buying, so bot something else for two days, then the next make epic money, and repeat.

I personally wouldn't say it isn't worth it, but that's just my opinion

You can get soda ash by cooking the seaweed; you can use seaweed, soda ash, or swamp weed.

Ah I see, yea this would make pretty decent money and it is a fairly easy script, one of you guys should give it a try

I want to, just have very little experience, plus I have Christmas break coming up..so I could start learning how to script :D

If I remember correctly you can only buy 100 buckets of sand/hr? That would be a major problem in my opinion.

Just checked and you're right, 100 per 4 hours. Shame that.

Thanks for verifying. It is great money and xp/hr (hypothetically), but in order to run it constantly you would have to stock up for a very, very long time…Still, it might be a good "occasional script."

I swear I was able to buy more than just 100 buckets of sand. I can't check right now; I'm trying to learn how to write a script for this.

You might be right - maybe it was 100 buckets - you'll have to check it out.

Well I read on Rune Wiki the limit is 100 but I'm at the GE now buying some to check. I'll post back to confirm.

Edit: 203 bought so far so must just be empty buckets which have the limit. I'll keep buying to check the max :)

E2: 1100 bought so limit is likely to be 5K+. It's a good method after all.

This could be a very viable enterprise then. ~400 casts an hour would be 800k/hr profit (something must be wrong here). Does soda ash also buy?

Well, you can do it with seaweed, so no need for soda ash.

I'd personally try and script it myself but scripting just confuses me as well as I have a mega workload and aint got the time to learn :(

currently showing 1.8m/hour profit holy shit this would be insane. looking further into the requirements but it seems like it wouldnt be that difficult to script. if nothing else I will pay someone to script one and release it publicly for all to enjoy if I see it profitable enough :)

Yeah, but just incase anyone tries to calc the profit p/h you need to know that you make MORE glass than the supplies you use.
For instance if you have 12 seaweed and 12 buckets of sand, you actually make like 15 molten glass.

And the only requirement is lunar diplomacy and I can't remember the mage level (My current member doesn't have 40+ def)
