I am happy to present Ratinator[C] if you used my reflection version you know what to exspect and i am hoping i have managed to recreate it as well as i can.

  • For this script you will require the latest version of Simba and SRL Tutorial link here.
  • Please Sign up for SRL Stats and help the script and your rank grow.
  • Special Thanks to bbri06 for letting me use parts from his Lumbridge Fighter, and thanks to Mormonman for helping me and a very special thanks to Nava2 for giving me feedback and improvements to the script.
  • This script is intended for account fresh out of tutorial island or with low combat levels.

Features

  • Paint on S.M.A.R.T Report
  • Re-equips items after death
  • Magic and Range support (needs testing)
  • Trains to specific levels (Attack, Strength, Defence, Range and Magic)
  • Random Skill Training

Bugs(will fix when i have time)

    Setup

    • Setup Script from Line 41 -109 (depending on amount of player)
    • If training Magic or Range Make sure you set the relevant Boolean to True, otherwise it will do melee combat

    In my script, I used multiple methods for fighting detection. Look into object tracking with color and then track the rat by its hp bar. You'll see the P.ofC. when I release it.

    I'm really sorry for the offtopicness, Bob. Mormonman, do you have an example on how you're tracking a color? How can you keep track of a certain color while your player is moving? I imagine it's a combination of compass angle and distance to the flag. I'd really like to know more about that.

    @Flight:
      FullHitBar := BitmapFromString(56, 1, 'meJxjYrdmYMhhYGgCIkaGLgw0iZl' +        // bitmap of full red status indicating dead npc // upd. 03-11
    'hFjJiYVgIR6wMq+CIg2EjDO3EhTgZDgARhIFHGQZazcRuDQB2WiWA'); // tried assigning lcally, but Simba kept it in mem :(
    SetBitmapName(FullHitBar,'FullHitBar');
    In HLR I choose a combination of findcolortolerance on this sliced full hit bar and the amount of XP gained since ChooseOption('Attack'). Works pretty well. Only gets messed when there are more legits around and the killing takes too long.

    Cool update.

    Issues:
    1) SPS_WalkPath will infinite loop click if you're not in a proper starting place. Check for water symbol or other "lumby features" before using it, and home tele if water symbol not found?

    2) Perhaps use http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72603 (unless you use the onscreen XP things). Edit: yeah that onscreen XP thing fucks up your object finding, so you'd want to use that and have them turned off.

    3) Use DidRedClick() when attacking. I see you use DidClick() but that's sorta useless; don't you want to know if you did a proper red click or a yellow misclick? ;)

    4) Object finding is a bit spastic. You should use something like FindObjTPA with CTS2 and it should be a lot more accurate at finding the little buggers. Or DTMs if you're feeling adventurous.

    5) You tend to get pulled up into http://i.imgur.com/PNLgf.jpg area. Usually it gets itself out of there, but that might be an issue to look at.

    6) Got a weird bug.
    Skill change time reached, swaping combat mode
    Error: Out Of Range at line 979

    979:
    120..180:begin
    if (Skills[1] >= Players[CurrentPlayer].Integers[6]) then

    979:

    1: didnt know about that, it should finish walk even if your half way through shouldnt it?

    2: Will look at turning popups off forgot about update as i turned it off already :)

    3: i do use redclick, DidClick(true, 400) will check for red and allows me to specify how long to wait where as redclick is set.

    4: yes i need to work on finding rat it basicly because they move, i have a possible solution.

    5: yes i know, but with relocation it should be fine. it just follows the rats where they are.

    6: you did have a number for integers[14] in declared players? otherwise it might not have gotten a skill number when it checked -1 would be if nothing was found, should explain error.

    thanks for all bugs :)

    1) Nah, if you're underground or stuck somewhere SPS will spamclick minimap forever. http://i.imgur.com/MElb5.png

    3) ahhhh

    4) CTS2 with some good colors+FindObjTPA should work good and pretty accurate. Steal Narcle's item finding code from his Member's fighter, and convert it to work on NPCs instead if you want something rilie accurate.

    6) It's Integers[14] := 10+Random(5)-Random(5);, which should be fine.

    Ok i will check the SPS thing.

    I will descreatly rip some of the code and test it to see if i can get it to work well.

    hmmmm, integers[14] must be because it didnt get the skills level correctly so i will add a check incase it was

    Hey there Bob, I was wondering would you mind if I were to make my own Giant Rat killing script and release it publicly? If you're trying to keep the giant rat area reserved for Members only then I understand, and I'll release my work here, in the Members area. I just don't wanna step on your toes ya know?

    that looks awsome, and yeh i wanted to keep this memebers only (up to you if your is puplic). but was thinking of having a light version for puplic. basicly it will only attack rats to a specific combat level (only melee)

    then members version will be supper cool and train prayer, range, magic and so on.

    i will be looking forward to seeing your code

    I guess Fakawi will be happy to see this script, nostalgia..^^

    EDIT: Nice piece of code, man! I like your "Relocation"- idea :) The only thing that, I personally would change, is to make the "Relocation" procedure a function. That way if Relocation fails, you can make this player's status inactive.
    However, this is just an opinion though =p

    EDIT: I can't find the actual deathwalking?

    Fair enough. I wonder though how you would stop the script when the player reaches a certain combat level? Would that not be easy for one to disable? I wasn't planning on anything fancy myself, just standard melee-fighting with a death-walk and item re-equipping.

    I don't mean combat level, even thought that could also be done (check for level text), i mean attack, defence and strength level.

    It might be easy to disable but they would still need to know how to script and find it which would be good.

    if you make a simple fighter i suppose that would be fine, hope it wont get to crowded now, lol, no one is ever training here.

    Hmmmm? Yes ye old ScarScape Goblinsheduler! Still have some players from those old days.

    On Topic: When the desired levels have reached, just put Players.Active to False and log out. that should safely remove them from the queue…but maybe that is not what you are talking about…..

    -Bob: not seen your code, but do you pickup and cook the rat meat? It doesnt cost any inv'space anymore, since hatchet and tinderbox go into the toolbelt. I love multiple skill-scripts, aren't many around. They are very unbotlike.

    You wouldn't believe this, but all my Players are now well above Cooking 60 because of this little ratmeat thing I build into HLR. And it prohibits your players from dying, thus you eliminate the need for a deathwalk!

    P.S. I have player at HLR with CB 70+, with 60+ in all skills. It took a while, but it works!

    no i dont, only pickup bones, because its such a small distance to walk, 2-3 click its not worth the effort i dont think, takes less time to walk than cut, light, cook and eat

    but i might make it for personal use with that included

    Sorry just saw the edits and double post.

    Relocation should never fail and if it does the script will home teleport and start deathwalking.

    The deathwalking is in the bottom of my main procedure search for "if deathwalk then" or "if (deathwalk) then" all it is is sps walking
