A good tablet.

I was thinking of perhaps buying one, but I'm not positive which to get. I really don't follow android development very much (I would like to though) , nor have I really looked into tablets at all up until this point.

Main reason for me getting it is mostly school work online, and perhaps remote to my PC at home (assuming there are no restraints preventing this on tablets?).

So far the Coby Kryos tablet looks like an alright deal. I'm likely looking in all the wrong places though. I checked newegg, but didn't see much there.

Any input or recommendations are appreciated. :)

Stay away from the Blackberry Playbook, horrible tablet. If you want lots of control over your tablet, I suggest getting an Android tablet. They're cheaper and good and not locked down like an iPad.

If I were you, I'd wait till Android 4.0 (Icecream Sandwich) is released. I haven't been staying up to date with the development with it, but it shouldn't be too far away.

That one looks awsome, and it supports microsd:P

If you have a bit more money, then buy the transformer prime (lowest storage space ofcourse, as it comes with usb and shit :P)

Trust me, stay away from any tablet with a resistive touch screen. The one you linked to included. Capacitive screens work infinitely better. They're the glass ones that generally feel high quality. I have an Acer Iconia a100. The black friday sale at bestbuy had them listed at $190. It was a great deal. I got mine in August though. I liked the blackberry playbook. Sales had then at $200. It's run very fluidly when I've used it. I don't know much about app development support and how long the its actually going to last.

Ive heard the Amazon kindle Fire is a good tablet, but is pretty limited compared to other android tablets. There is development going on though, and they will probably have a complete gingerbread port. Honeycomb is take a long time though - google never released the source and it has to be pretty hacked up to run on anything that doesnt get updated officially by the manufacturer.

I personally prefer the 7" tablets. They are able to fit in a pocket and a pretty convenient to just use around the house. my tablet is always connected to the irc as noidea`` or noidea```.

I can try to answer any questions you have :)

I know many of you don't like ipad, but for me, ipad is more responsive. Altough, I'm getting tired of that iOS. If there could be a way from changing that OS, would be nice!

I never said I didn't like the iPad, I love mine. I just like the openness of Android.
