He's a great guy, and his work on OGL is on pair with silentwolf (imo).
He should get JR rank at least. He deserves *something*.
Opinions?
@Zyt3x Moved to junior's lookout. :p
Has he actually post some code?

I'd like to see a sample of his work. From what I've read on Mopar he seems pretty knowledgeable.

He's only doing it for his own bot, as far as I can tell. I haven't seen much actual Simba code from him. He does seem educated about stuff, but so far isn't delivering much for us yet.
I wouldn't give him SRL Members yet, but maybe jrs…

I agree with the others, Jr Member should be fine.
If he is open to letting us view his OpenGL code i think we should give him the new comer cup, but only if he opens up the code to us.

I'd say give him juniors, then he'll most likely apply for members soon anyways.

He already applied for members, but without a script.
http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68110^ His application. I say Jrs at most, for now.

Junior + Promising newcomer
Memberize him, encourage him to stick with Simba and SRL community.
Surely he seems to handle programming well enough to qualify ? Most of the people get in with less showing.

I'm not sure he cares that much. He just wants to finish OGL hooking and Simba is atm his testing tool, I am unsure if he wishes to use Simba as their ``official'' client. Probably not since they all dislike Pascal. ;)

They? Besides Aftermath, who are we talking about here?

if he has a bot, ofc he should be memberized as we always do that to fellow bot developers.

All his work is pretty much for his own use right now. I don't see any scripts coming from him despite having that neat 'beep' plugin. He is knowledgeable, yes. Junior Members is fine.

^This. Also whats with the new threads about juniors getting cups/ and being auto memberized. Thiz is the 4th one this week, so i dont know whats going on in SRL mem+, but you all seem to be too eager to give away stuff.

So I'm not the only one thinking that. Good.

Giving out cups has become somewhat lax so there was discussion about juicing it a bit. Some people are just a little over zealous.
But JR member is an auto-rank so the point of suggesting it seems useless to me as they will get it regardless when they meet the criteria.
Also auto-members is a very special thing and none of the people suggested lately that I have seen are that special.

I'm with Hobbit that he will eventually get Jr.
And I don't really think he is a newcomer.(I mean he is not new, only here)
Hence I didn't voted, just my thoughts.
His work however is indeed promising.

This.
Although it would be nice to encourage him to stay here (giving members to him) I don't think he will. Like Wizzup said hes only using simba as a testing tool.
His work sounds great and promising but only to him and his pocket ? (sorry if that sounds bad).
If he wanted to be a member and keep his work here he surely would of showed the source to the senior members of the site while in testing at least.
Personally I think as this is an open source and learning community to be a member you should be showing scripting or developing code as others would like to see so we could learn or use it.
I'm not going to vote.

I say no , JR will be okay for him, due to many reasons already been stated, he is just developing a bot for himself and posting pictures of his progress, No biggie.

I say Yes. Botdevelopers/leaders have always been instamembered. In this case, these days, and seeing which way this is heading….yes.
P.S. Silentwolf's leave had nothing to do with him being automembered, had it?

Idk. I mean it seems like he is here for his own personal gain…? I have nothing against him, but if he could share his own development with us etc or something other than that plugin, I won't have a problem making him members.

I agree with Fakawi, besides even if he doesn't stick around what do we stand to lose? But if he sticks around because he feels welcomed? Win-win situation in my mind.

At the rate we member people with 10 posts for posting a script, the possibility of leaking ~2-4 working scripts would not be a concern from someone doing completely new bot development.

With all the other bots down our Srl-Members scripts are now becoming premium. Nothing is stopping people from leaking them. A lot of kiddies @ sythe are begging for bots.

I can remember at least 2 apps that had < 50 posts that simply posted a script and they get whisked in.
I'm just saying it doesn't seem like people need to be a part of the community at all to join SRL members. A guy from sythe could write up a semi-competent script in a few hours and get members, then leak everything. Thus, worrying about someone leaking scripts who is developing a whole new bot platform is laughable.
I had released a script a while back with my default srl stats account in the details at the top in members only. Within a day, the stats account account and password were changed. Scripts are going to get leaked.

I'm more concerned about the ideas BEHIND the scripts being leaked, not the actual code. "Oh we have this super secret 300k/hr F2P money making method we stole from SRL Members section, time to share it on our new bot!"
Not implying he'd do that, I don't even know him.

Do it already, he has more knowledge than the average srl member.
