This Simba exports that filter used in uptext to scripts so that chooseoption can take advantage of it as well. If you have this filter (it will also be in Simba 975) then your chooseoption will be a LOT faster.

As always: Please test this (hopefully) last release candidate of Simba 0.98

PS: Simba 975 will be released to the updater later; I'm hoping that mopar will be able to autobuild simba-prev as well.


E: If you downloaded before I edited this post, redownload the installer. It contained an old Simba!

Narcle noted this too. This is weird. Perhaps something is wrong with mopar's autobuilds. :(
I can build a binary manually tomorrow. I'll do that for the release anyway. Still, run this even if it's not accelerated. I'd like to know if there are any other issues.

Redownload from my link. There's something wrong with Mopar's cache I think.

I'm also getting it. Went to Help > About, and it says revision 980.

Well when you install it, the install link say 0.98.4, shouldn't it be 0.98.7?

On the other hand, its working for me. But it's slow like you said.

It works for me with that installer.

E: Apparently the autobuild still is lacking behind a bit.

Change SIMBAMAJOR980 to SIMBA980 in your SRL and it should work.

Works fine for me in Wine. It' doesn't have native Mac support though.
