SRL Archive - RS3 Outdated / Broken Scripts

This script is made to attack lesser demons at the top floor of wizards tower (here). There is one lesser demon that continually spawns and is behind a fence, so ranging it and mageing it leave you completely safe!




Level 1 Magic in order to at least cast Wind Strike/Wind Rush (Wish Rush is nice because it only requires air runes, so simply equipping a staff of air gives you unlimited strikes! It's a very weak spell though)

OR

Level 1 Ranged to use bows/sling/crossbow. (Slings are nice to use because they require no ammunition, so it's free training and xp to ranged for you! Read about them (here).





1) Head to the top of Wizard's tower, stand outside of the cage like so:

2) Have your ranged weapon equipped (Choose whichever ranged style you wish to attack with) OR have sufficient runes to cast the spell you want. (DO NOT set auto-cast yourself, let the script do it!).
3) It's importatnt that you set up

Strings[0]  :='';

properly. You can choose from any of the recognized SRL spells:

if you wish to range.
4) Let er rip!



The script is a Beta release right now. So it is up to you to either trust the script, or monitor it every few minutes to make sure nothing goes wrong. Also report all bugs/requests and I will add them in new updates!

• If you are getting

  ** Warning in Cast: wind strike is not autocast-able**

  even though you chose a valid spell and have the runes for it do this edit:
Set the spell to auto-cast manually (like log in, and set it to auto-cast yourself), and then find this line in the script:

Result:=Cast(Players[CurrentPlayer].Strings[0], True); 

and get rid of that line, and replace it with

Result:=True;

• There is some elusive bug in SRL, which when triggered results in an endless loop of your mouse hovering around the bottom left of your inventory. For this reason I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you KEEP AN EYE on the script, or at least check up on it every few minutes. I believe I removed the line of code that causes this, but am not 100% sure yet.

Please run the script as much as you can (taking breaks and autoing safely of course!) and try to monitor/watch it as much as you can to let me know of any bugs, tweaks, changes, or extra options you would like to see added in upcoming versions.

Post progress reports to show off your longest runs!

Make a SRL stats account (here) to show off how much xp/how long you have ran the script! (By default if you don't enter a stats account the stats are committed to the Anonymous account.

It would also be nice if you could please to me, any amount would mean a lot <3!

I've just been into training magic recently, going to use this to get from 1- 32 and then use YUGAY for a long time/until I can superheat!

This is a cheap/easy way to train magic so I wanted to script it :D!

Capital R 'Range'. Also I've never tested ranging yet :p, but should work.

yep 8 minutes so far workin great with the sling

set to a few hours on and half hour break (I assume it's randomized too so about those times) will let it run hopefully for like 6+ hours

good script to run while the chooseoption thing gets fixed

The break after X minutes isn't randomized, but the break time itself is randomized, highly doubt jagex looks are that stuff anyways.

naw I'll probably use it x-99, I move around on what I bot a lot, sometimes bot like 5 diff things in a day

I need a range helmet so I kill better, is it true that stuff respawns faster with higher population worlds?

I know that ores re-spawn faster on populated worlds, not sure about monsters and other things though.

And the per hour really doesn't tell much, different amount of people in room/hits they deal all effect it. I just have it in there for fun.

yea a coif, I just look at if it raises range attack lol
well it tells me how much exp I'm getting and how fast I'm killing :P


but yea I know it works for ores and stuff, so I'm wondering if it's the same for monsters

yea I don't think it breaks at all, I didn't notice it

I noticed it says "sleepyminutes never used" or whatever

It takes breaks I tested it. Yea might be an unused variable but all vars needed for breaks should be working just fine. Try again and watch the script around the time you set it to break at.

yea it doesn't break, it logs out and then logs back in instantly

breaking is set for 30 minutes


or is that 30ms? because breakevery says minutes, breakfor doesn't say minutes though

you're right, forgot to convert the Ms to Minutes!

yea it takes a few hours to break so naturally it gives good stats lol

changed the line we'll see how it works in a few hours, I figured it was ms because if it had no break time it wouldn't have taken a break I'd just assume.. hopefully all goes good

Is better than a regular sling.
+1 more ranged attack bonus
and
+0.5 ranged strength bonus.

Over time with all the slining you'll be doing it'll add up, you just need to complete and easy F2P quest to get it (don't even have to finish entire quest! Just the first part and you get his sling!) Completing quest all the way gets you attack, strength, defense, ranged, and magic XP so careful about completing it if you're a pure.

2) Yeah Simba has built in random solvers, some work really well, some do not, but it detects and attempts to solve all randoms, and if it can't it logs you out safely.

3) Yeah I noticed that with a few spells sometimes even though they were castable :/ it's a problem with SRL itself, I'll post it in the bug section later. Umm to work around that I would set the spell to autocast manually (like log in, and set it to autocast yourself), and then find this line in the script:

Result:=Cast(Players[CurrentPlayer].Strings[0], True); 

and get rid of that line, and replace it with

Result:=True;

That should fix it until I get the real problem sorted out.

Woo Woo! Make sure to monitor it and stuff, but according to Grats' progress reports and stuff it should work just fine with no/not many bugs at all!

oh ok, yea it was a few lines up didn't even notice sleeptime because I had to scroll up lol

No I did not make a SRL stat acc! I will, thanks for the input.

Two things:

1) Sometimes, ''You haven't received any messages to which you can reply'' appears in chat, I am guessing this is AntiBan, but I failed to find it in the script to disable it.

2) I have not done the begginer tasks, so I always have a ''Click here to show the Task window'' that appears, but with the bot running, it appears for a millisecond, and disapears instantly. It then reappears every 3 seconds or so, I don't know what causes that, looks a bit suspicious to me if the bot commands to the window to disappear instantly everytime it appears. Thanks again.

E: Logged out after 10 minutes, if 600 seconds the base break time?

that happens when you click disable smart, that's pressing tab button benland said disable smart does an "alt tab" type thing

Smart was disabled when I first launched to manually set autocast but it is now enabled. Should this be fixed or should I relaunch?

1) That's normal, happens when you click the disable/enable SMART button.

2) Umm no clue, random runecape crap, try to click through menus on stuff on runescape to get rid of it I guess?

 BreakEvery        = 600;

Not sure exactly what you're asking

BreakFor is how many MINUTES you want to break for.
BreakEvery is how long in MINUTES you want to bot before taking a break.
And if I did all my math right :p they should work just fine now.

Yeah even if you don't make a stats account they are recorded as an anonymous user, but it's cool to make your own!

E: You should pause scripts before disabling smart, then doing you stuff, then enable smart, then press play again.
With some scripts you can get away with not pausing at all, disabling, doing your stuff, and then enabling, but it's smarter to pause first. No need to STOP the script or restart anything.

I meant that it actually stoped, well logged out, after 10 minutes or 600 seconds ;)

Was wondering if the default break time was every 10 minutes but I guess not!

Hmm, by default it breaks every 120 minutes (two hours) for 10 minutes.

And don't feel ashamed at all! As you can see we here at SRL are friendly to everyone! We don't mind the asking and answering of questions at all, keep em coming if you have more!

Hey again! I tried to change the spell used to curse but once again the ''curse is not autocast-able'' which is true!

But this time I can't fix myself by setting it to autocast since it has to be manually casted.

Was the script only intended to autocast or also curse by wearing negative mage bonus and repeatedly casting curse on the demon?

It was just intended to cast combat spells.
I assume curse and all those other spells can't be autocasted?
And you can only cast them once per demon or something like that?
In later versions I'll add support for curse and stuff but for now it works best with ranged/damange dealing magic attacks, sorry!

Yea, curses can't be autocasted, and they can only be casted once per target.

But by putting minus mage bonus gear (I think you need -57 mage attack), every of your spells will splash.

For instance, on a 1 def pure, I'd wear: Earth staff, Full Iron + Black Dhide Vambraces, and I will splash every of my spells. The bot would have to click on curse, then click the demon, over and over again.

Yeah okay gotcha, I'll add support for that later as it's a popular thing to do.
I'm pretty familiar with how it's done thanks I get it.
For now you can use it to just attack (except I doubt you'd want to do that on a pure though!)

yea, how many commits you getting? yesterday at 2AM there were like 2 people botting the demon in every members world, it took me 30 mins to find an empty world and I was at my friends house she was like LOL STOP PLAYING RUNESCAPE

Dawg it ran great, I recommend everyone to use this. It's honestly flawless. I'm gonna upgrade from the sling to iron arrows for more xp :P once I do that I'll post another proggy.

And not many other bots are running right now, I'm sure they are just legit people.

@grats: Just check the stats while you have it running and see if it's getting any other commits. I doubt it's gotten THAT popular already, but activity is going up slowly but surely.

there is one sort of bug that i came along. If set training to range, it still checks the xp for magic.

Problem was that latest update changed color of lesser demon quite a bit.
Everything in there is very dull colored from the RED of the lesser/fire rune to the coins on the ground, ugly!

Funny I probably I'm standing next to one of you guys :)

I just found this site today, and just now got Simba to work, but when I run the script, it logs in and everything, but it just stands there and does nothing. I am trying to stun lesser demons. It says in the Simba Client "Location: Trouble setting up" I think have everything filled in, but it just stands in the same spot, and doesnt do anything. Can someone help me please, I am very new to this program.

Can't you only cast stun once per monster? Or am I thinking of of something else?
This script is more for spells that you can cast over and over like attacking spells.

Also, that error normally only happens when you set the spell to autocast before you start the script. Make sure none of your spells are set to autocast, and then try running it again.

Well, you can cast only once per monster, but I'm wearing armour that lowers magic attack, so it just splashes, so I can cast it as many times as I want, giving me only the Base XP, which is 90. I just saw that it said Stun in the spell list, assuming that it would just repeatedly click between the spell and the demon.

Ok okay then, if you are splashing it should work just fine then.

Only problem then I can think of is to make sure you let the SCRIPT set it to auto-cast, and do not set it to auto-cast yourself before before you start the script.

So try that, and let me know what happens.

Haha, thanks dude, and yeah, Stunning is a pretty good form of xp, especially if you just wear armour with negative attack bonuses. You have to have -65 or less for it to splash 100% of the time. And with a Mud Battlestaff, you only need soul runes. Some people also like to alch in between casts for even more xp. You can get over 100k xp an hour!

But this script is still the best for 1 def pures or low lever rangers or all level magic-dudes.
(I'm still using this script with a 85+ ranger 40 def and its working flawles)

If it does do that, it wont very often, and it should only do it for one demon and should attack the next one after it spawns. Run it a bit longer and see, I don't think it will do that for multiple demons.

Depends on your magic boosting armor, magic level, spell you're using, and the amount of other people in the room, hard to tell :/. Run it for like 30 minutes and see you xp before/after and see for yourself :D.

Depends on the crowd in the server.
I'd suggest logging in manually, and switching to an empty server, then starting the script for better xp, enjoy, leave feedback and report please!

I will deffo leave some feedback. Im gonna train to 40 range manually, then get 100k bronze arrows and use them all. If the script works, that should get me to around 65 range, which would be fantastic!

As far as i know it works great, got tons of long ass progress reports posted for it!

I can really recommend this script to you. (I did lvl 85-90 with it)

But I dont think using bronze arrows is a good idea. They are (almost) the same price and you can buy way faster.

Also like YoHoJo said, searching for an empty world is worth the effort

no it just moves the mouse back and forth, and yes thats what my settings are

This script works perfectly after i fix the issue with wind strike. It's also never failed on me ever unlike pretty much all other scripts :) Keep up the awesome work! :biggrin:

Post error you are getting.
If autocast problem is solved then you will get a different error besides "Setting AutoCast". Run it, after it logs you out, copy/paste the debug please.

i suggest you put the setangle in there so when it logs in it goes to highest. didnt ever do it when i ran it, so i put it in there.

2) you can see i added range level and magic levels in proggy cause i like knowing my levels i guess(mainly so i know if ive leveled)

3) can you add xp/hr on it so we can calculate how long till we hit certain levels?

Can't help you much with such little info.
Read/copy paste the debug and there will always be some kind of error before any logout. Once I see that I can help.

add accursed urns support :) put x into inv, then kill lessers till one is full then teleport it away and keep going. supposedly best f2p prayer xp rate if killed fast enough, but even if not its free xp

Update your SRL.
Right click menus changed yesterday but I think the latest SRL update solved it.

ok now i updated everything and the same thing happens it just right clicks and doesnt attk it, + it says "we are fighting" when its not :/

Nah you don't NEED that ticked to get updates properly.
Overriding update just over-writes everything you have with latest stuff, even if your SRL version is the same at the latest SRL version. Just more of a 'double check'.

every time i close simba and reload it i click check for update and it always finds one for srl that must of been why it wasn't working because it wasn't overwriting

Also, when i let it log me in, it logs me in and stops the script.
always have to use a client, not a problem though.
And when it starts, its at this camera angle that makes it harder to click the lesser sometimes.

umm yes it right clicks demon then moves cursor to the top left corner then repeats. every second im getting a log coming up like this: and when it goes for 10 minutes without attacking any it logs out :(

If you read around the debug box more it should tell you the reason why the script failed. I'll make it more obvious in a later update but making it say ERROR: 'error here'

Just try running it again it's a very stable script once you get it running.

Yeah none are. Wait for an SRL update and they will work.
A guy named Home posted a thread with fixes to make everything work again you can find that and edit your SRL for it to work again.

The script is working fine for me, so I'm guessing it's on your end.

tried using your script today. my cb is lower than the lesser, so it tried right clicking but it then fails to scroll down to the attack option

I've been using this script for a few days now, but today, after the bot kills the demon is keeps exiting to the lobby and logging back in.

I've seen ideas for rune medium telegrab and cursing support, everyone post all other features you'd like to see in later versions and I'll try to deliver!

I get the same exact error. I am trying to curse it, but the script just shuts down automatically

I tried the script I set everything correct and I put ''curse'' in the field for the spell to be casted. But as soon as it logs my char in, it automatically logs it out. any help?

It's running great YoHoJo! It does very well what it is scripted to do. Killing a single respawning Lesser is rather slow exp so I wanted to try and use the rangeguilder script, however I'm very coding illiterate and can't figure out the anti-leach =/. Would you mind messaging me with a little help? Would be great to get a little insight, and would help toward doing some scripting of my own in the future. Thanks in advance :).

For those of you who it's not working well for, make sure to follow first post/scripts instructions very closely, it's picky!

I'm very glad its working for many of you with no updates in so long, and after Saturday I have one week of of school so MAYBE I'll start fixing it up.

I haven't used this myself in forever, so it would help A LOT if all of you could just post all the bugs, fixes, features, etc that you want/want fixed so I can easily just cross them off a list when I get started on working on it!

This error spams quite a few times in the dos prompt.

This script is great for accounts starting at 1 magic, only problem i have is it doesn't always detect the demon when it respawns

I just set up this script to level my magic up a bit. It opens the spell book, goes to the spell i set it to cast then just logs out. ( i tried with a bunch and get same result)

Hmm I don't remember what I used to check for incombat, I think I just checked to see if a lesser demon existed and if so, assumed you were in combat.

It actually sets camera at highest angle, the 'problem' is that in antiban I have

Hey YoHoJo! i added a amkeshift way of item pickup for rune meds, and death runes. ill pm you the script and you can do whatever with it. i think i have some other changes in there but im not sure.
