It used to click the compass and get a nice perfect North but Jagex broke that.
The only thing I see broken from update is compass. Uptext etc works fine.

So SRL makes the compass north and to the highest point where everything is viewable right?
Well then, if so, they did an update behind our backs because this started happening to me last night (10 hours ago).
Plus I hear people @ the GE talking about a massive change to the world map that Jagex plans to do… It's going to be in 3D.
RISK: Uptext is working perfectly fine for me?

Maybe it is just a problem on my part… My bad, sorry.
Would changing the world map have any real effect on us? Say for SPS.

Is there anyway to temp fix the scripts I use? It'll currently just stop when returning to bank or vise versa, 'player lost' and instantly stops script.

Using the buildings to get compass angle and change it accordingly is actually a reliable option - this is done in the maze solver.

Yeah, granted that you have a few nice walls it should work - but only within 90 degrees. So if anything you could use it align better, but not to completely set the angle to any degree.

From: nokkasiiliI think anything non symmetric could work but you would have to know what it looks like when angle is north(Or any other direction). I still think it's just easiest to use the compass.. (Unless you need to set it very accurately like in maze random)
Could minimap images used to calculate angle of camera or is it too slow

I haven't looked in the docs for this, but since u mention angles / degrees in this earlier post …
When adjusting the camera angle and elevation, can this only be done roughly - or is the a way of doing it more accurately.

From: Sir R. M8gic1anPerhaps 2 static points and compare them so your location wouldn't matter.
If you wanted to get a certain elevation, I guess you could find a static point on the MS, such as a rock, (get that point from either minimum height or max height) and then use some math to define where that point should be at when camera is at angle x. However at least I see no real use for this..

Update your SRL.
Edit: also, line 132, '<>' was changed to '<'. Not sure why? Can someone change it back?
The whole thing has been pretty fucked up as they've made the compass change colour dynamically.

Well, if we replace line 227 in includes/sps/sps.simba with this i.e. increasing angle 5 to 10 and 355 to 350 would make it work as well. But it's just a temporary fix, and I believe there can be a better fix?if (inRange(round(rs_GetCompassAngleDegrees), 10, 350)) then
